Vegetarianism just isn't realistic. If you really 'care' about animals eaten for meat, wouldn't you try to prevent them from being killed for meat in the first place? rather than waste time avoiding DEAD meat that's already at the supermarket, as if the turkey gives two shits once it's dead.

Vegetarianism for "moral" reasons is just idiotic. I mean, we ARE canivores, at least in part, due to the fact that humans are mammals. We consider ourselves a higher order of species, but we're still animals deep, deep down. Why is it 'wrong' for us to do what's natural to so many other animal species? You don't go around kicking rats out of snakes' mouths do you? You don't slap a fish out of a bear's mouth do u?

Meat is nutricious and delicious. Take the omega 3 fatty acids you find in fish. Vegetables are alive as well. Or are you so cavalier about eating them because they don't show physical pain when they're killed? I don't eat all meat, but cow flesh, chicken flesh and so forth is delicious if cooked properly. I do agree we should treat animals better and have a form of more humane preparing of them for food but I don't think we should stop ingesting their oh so tasty flesh. Wearing skin? Different.

@nedmano I can give you tons of reasons. 1: It's not natural for humans- you couldn't catch and eat a raw deer, could you? 2: We're wasting food- It takes ten times the grain to feed a pig and then have one person eat the pig, then it would for the person to just eat the grain themselves. 3: Animals feel pain! Search for "meet your meat" and then you'll see what I mean. 4: The meat industry is a huge cause of global warming I could go on, but I'm running out of space.
