Oh wow, this Clip should have never been deleted and like what JPRegal93 pointed out, why Miki Segusa cared so much about Baby Zilla, especially in Godzilla vs Space Godzilla and vs Destoroyah.

And btw, I recently bought the 50th Anniversary DVD of this movie and Im really disappointed...TriStar Pictures butchered the hell out of the Subtitles in so many scenes, cause I also have this movie on VHS, that I bought back in 1997 and the subtitles matches the reaction of the actors.

This should've been kept in, it would've helped explain why Miki was so attached to Baby Godzilla in GvsSG and GvsD, even though she didn't seem to interact act with him much in this film.

Toward the end of the scene, (Before he plays w/ her hair) she tells Junior that he has nothing to be afraid of , that he is safe, and that she wants to be his friend.

I think this is the baby from the old big G. series of the 60's, only given a new facelift for the 90's.

It's hard to tell however, because this series of films from the 90's crossed the lines of the old series and pushed a lot of the continuity out of the way and Toho dug themselves a bigger hole trying to straighten out the mess.

In no way were these bad movies, (the fx were great and much improved) but the stroyline was a mess and it became very confusing.

Only the 60s baby godzilla is called "Minya" or "Minilla" (although - to be honest - you can't be really sure it's his baby as it barely resembles him...).

This movie (and the other Heisei-movies) is not connected to the 60s movies and it's just called "Baby" here.

@Mycookay I think the grey colored good defender of mankind during the 70s during Godzilla vs The Smog Monster though Terror Of Mechagodzilla was a grown up Minya,the green colored funky spiked Godzilla of Gdozilla 2000 was a grown up Godzilla Junior. Oh,one day Miki Saegusa would wind up becoming a stepmom to a new young Godzilla and share adventures together. GODZOOKIE! Miki and Godzookie travel onboard a JSDF battlecruiser while joining Godzilla in wars against axis monsters for new series.

I own 3 versions of this movie on DVD, the TriStar-version dubbed in English, the TriStar-version dubbed in German and the Japanese version (TOHO-DVD) and all of them miss this scene, among others. All the deleted scenes are part of the bonus features on the Japanese TOHO-DVD.

I think you're looking for "Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla" from 1974. That "bear" is called "King Ceasar" (or "King Shisa").

The baby Zilla (the American version Godzilla) is way different from this baby Godzilla, I think this baby Godzilla don't seems to like fish and it mix with humans later in this movie

Not sure, Japan seems to show the baby godzilla not eating at all (did not show, so don't what it eats), more on the bonding parts.
