@colagutt1993 It completely depends on your motherboard. Some use slots 1 and 3, others use slots 1 and 2.

You definitely should not lower the motherboard into the case by holding the fan, support your freaking motherboard! You cant see what hes doing at all and the voiceover is just annoying as heck. If you are looking at building your own computer you should really check out (elitepcbuilding . com) It shows all the steps and covers any questions you might have

@aw34a4 Actually, you do not necessarily need a DVD drive. Most Windows XP installation discs are on CD-ROM. It all depends on the OS are looking to install on your machine. For the motherboard, you really don't need any programs. The motherboard should already come with the proper bios already installed. But after you have the OS installed on the machine, it is a good idea to install the latest drivers for the motherboard.

one big mistake u made, to avoid ESD (electrostatic discharge) you should be wearing a wrist strap so your grounded, especially if your on carpet, but at least you got the motherboard sitting on the anti static bag.
