How can that thing see 12 miles away? That would be over the horizon for something that tall. According to an crude online calulator, it'd have to be 100ft tall to see the horizon 12 miles away.

I'm confused.

@hippotoast I know it's not, that was pretty much my point. They don't want to find him. Same with those rumours about Iran's nuclear programme; the US is just hoping to start shit once again. You know there's something seriously wrong in the world if the only country in the world that has ever used nuclear weapons thinks of itself as the country that should police other countries' nuclear activities.

@ytzuigt Right but people always use the atomic bombings of Japan out of context. Let's not forget that the US was at war with an enemy refusing to surrender and with each day of them holding out more American soldiers were dying. Japan started a war of aggression against the US, and the research of atomic weapons was started during wartime in order to gain an upper hand that could end the conflict in favour of the allies. Iran isn't under any such conditions.

@hippotoast Well you're right, but here's the thing: Iran WILL NOT drop a nuclear bomb on America (and neither will North Korea). Israel, and Zionists in and around your government, are just doing everything they can to get America to attack Iran, under the guise of stopping nuclear threat. Iran and North Korea mostly just want nukes because they feel they need them to protect them from the imperial US threat, and obviously they think it's bullshit that America gets to decide who can have them.

@ytzuigt - I would go further - if anyone nukes the US it will be Israel - a country that has attacked us multiple times - ref: The Lavon Affair where they committed false flag terrorism against the US to get us to fight their wars for them.....same MO as 9/11. We are fighting two wars on Iran's borders and have the audacity to make it sound like Iran has the problem. Imagine China taking over Canada and Mexico and telling us we are making threats - wake up people.

@hippotoast - Japan was in the process of surrendering at the time. Further, to say they started the war is a bit of a stretch - look up the McCollum Memo - it at least demonstrated the intent of "our" government to provoke Japan in to war. Whether there was foreknowledge of the Pearl Harbor attack is an interesting discussion, but really we gave up our neutrality before that with Lend Lease. Oh, and weren't we aiding China, ah hem....
