I bought one from a pawn shop in the early 90''s. I thought I could make some miami bass with that shit and this is the only sound it could produce. WTF.
how do i use the capacitor to test? i have to solder two wires and just work normally? (my rx17 is on its way to my home, so i don't know if it runs on batteries)
I did that a while back so can't remember the connections. But my advice is for any bending, use 1uf/100V capacitior for points testing. It doesn't let through current. This way things don't short out. But no guarantee off course.
They're one of the cheapest to buy (check ebay). Very under rated machine actually. One drum kit only but I rather have one decent kit than 100's of crappy ones like many other machines. It can be bend much further too - glitches, etc, but I mainly wanted electro drums.
