  • You can tell Bobby loved playing this song!

  • Do you remember.....

    1. When you got on YouTube and there wasn't a big ad at the homepage?

    2. When there wasn't a ad at the very beggining ov every video?

    3. When it was YOUtube?

    4. When Vevo didn't exist?

    5 When copyright wasn't a big deal?

Copy and Past this to all of your favorite music artists!!! <3

  • super!!

  • Bad Religion thanks for getting me through more than you'll ever know you are the best!

  • my favorite version of this song is off the album tested

  • This song is awesome!

  • nice music!!

  • Jay does well on the backing vocals...sorta surprising.

  • BEST OF:::::::::::::::::

  • Bobby Scheyer and Pete Finestone are still my best drummers in BR. Pete cause he got important history in BR and in the punk rock scene, and Bobby cause he's like a robot; precise, efficient and secure. Brooks has the best technical skills; I try but it cant change my mind about Bobby...but I admit, Brooks its an awesome drummer!

  • @gdinoteimoso I agree with you, but judging by Greg's and Brett's interview they are saying that Brooks brought new dimension to BR. Not just with his technical skills but he is an inspiration to them. Still I prefer Bobby as a BR drummer.

  • @dulishaEGK Off course Brooks sounds like Bobby 2.0, he really are the best technical drummer in BR, but though being the best in skills, I really don't think he is the best representative of a punk rock drummer as Bobby. I know that GG and crew love him in the band (so am I), but some songs, he really make things that wasn't needed...he adds too much things on the songs, and sometimes those songs sound like crap...but that's me thinking...but anyway, The Quickining and The Grand Delusion...OMFJ

  • @gdinoteimoso I like Pete, Bobby and Brooks all for different reasons. Pete for the same reasons as you and Bobby because he had a unique kind of playing. You can tell when it was Bobby playing. But I'd have to say I like Brooks the best. He's like Bobby 2.0 His drumming is very precise because of his jazz background. The Quickening and Shattered Faith are both songs that come to mind that Brooks is nailing it out of the park.

  • my favorite song

  • uma das mais belas cancoes!!!

  • whats the name of the album with this song?

  • @malthe122 Tested

  • thank you :)

  • Tested

  • TESTED

  • @malthe122

I've only seen it on the live album 'Tested' but it is a very good live album.

  • ''there's no preparation and no guide

just what you've done before here with your life''

    Love this part

  • I just noticed now that someone else said "watcho" with greg. I thought that was like something he does by himself. maybe it was a mistake.

  • it's funny cause he shakes his head right after he steps away from the mic, probably thinking, "that's my word! douche bag >.>"

  • BR is such a great live band...

  • q groso yo fui a verlos cuando vinieron a argentina dijeron q volverian y?

    no tienen palabra?

  • COOL

  • such a great band live. even twelve years after this, they are still amazing. such a great band a really great dude

  • @LostPilgram If you ask me....Id say they are even better today. god (if he exists :D) only knows how awesome they will be in 10yrs time!

  • Don't have to be first, just somehow get by... truth.

  • I love this song. Happy to see they played it live at least once!

  • Same it's better than (get ready to thumbs down me everybody) American Jesus in my humble opinion which they play live every gig.

It's too repetitive for my liking, obviously I appreciate the lyrics but I mean the lyrics are amazing in every BR song so it's kind of irrelevant.

  • They should play it live again

  • I love it at the beginning when they let Greg go acapella. They should've done that in the studio version.

  • They do that, well at least the studio version I listened to..... ?

  • Oh, no, you're right. It just sounded different live I guess.

  • They did...

  • That drummer needs to stop eating chicken and dumpings.

  • Oh yeah. Eating shit (or "dumpings") will make anyone fat.

  • hey, dont talk bad about bobby

  • awesome performance...

greg proofs great singing skills on this concert.

  • soooooooooo fucking GREAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This video flat-out fucking RULES

  • 1 of my top 5 bad religion songs

  • very very good

  • They need to play this more often

  • I can't agree more with you. Great song, and also Great album (tested) :D

  • I added some Bad Religion B-sides songs to my channel!

  • une criss de bonne toune

  • Les francais, on aime ca le Bad Religion calisse!!! Rancid pis Rise against a Mtl/ Ottawa en juin... j'te vois la!

  • GREAT!!!!

  • amazing...

  • significance

  • i like the drummer they had that time hes cool

  • That's Bobby Schayer, forgive me if the spelling is wrong, he left the band because he had a elbow injury and know is a drum teacher/drum technician.

  • yeah i found that on the net after i wrote that hes a great drummer propably a good teacher/drum technician looks like he knows what hes doing ya know

  • sweet

never seen a live vid of this song

guess they didn't play it live much

looks like it was cold as shit!

  • ya first time hearing this song. awsome song

  • 1st time hearing this. Pleasently surprised, like the lyrics.

  • awesome

  • tested.... Yeah, BR is all ready tested and they pased the quiz.....

  • 02:25-02:27 - LOL, looks like Baker forgot his vocal duties (i.e. the lyrics!)...

  • Maybe he started singing a Minor Threat or Dagnasty or Samhein song on accident. After all the dudes been in like half of the most influential punk bands for the last twenty-five years.

  • what are u talking about baker doesn't sing lyrics he does back up vocals.

  • I suppose you mean "doesn't sing lead vocals". And this is where you are WRONG. Live, Baker sometimes takes over the lead vocals, so that Graffin can harmonize with Bentley (especially when Gurewitz isn't around). So "Navigating a tangled web of logic and passion" is supposed to be sung by Baker here, only he forgot and did an "oozin' ah" with Graffin and Bentley.

  • And if ur confused why no one sang that line it was cuz Greg just decided to do it that way or he forgot the line. He did the same thing at the end of American Jesus off the Tested album and I'm sure he's done it many other times. Seriously you gotta listen to the album.

  • I did listen to the album about a million times. And true - there is a deliberate factor, which I ruled out. I based my assumption on the fact that Baker sometimes sings the melody (e.g. in "21st Century Digital Boy"), which is comparable to our discussion, though not the same thing. Wish I'd get the chance to ask Graffin one day! I was fortunate enough to meet Hetson, but he couldn't tell me much about the vocals per se, as he "never sing[s]", as he told me. ;-)

  • Jay, and sometimes Brett also does the thing "tried to tell you about no control"

Another example is Punk Rock Song, towards the end "Figures dont lie they speak of human disease" part, Jay sings that while Baker and Graffin do backup vocals.

  • Sure... The latter example doesn't count, though, as Bently sings that part in the studio version, too. ;-)

  • Great - never heard them do this one live!

  • obviopusly you have never heard the Tested (live)album

  • Yes I have, as a matter of fact. But obviously, you didn't realise that "Tested" is a studio song on that very album!

  • hey man, not trying to be an ass, ok man. i was just say. hell i got the album last tuesday. but good point...

  • No worries. Indeed, there are two other studio tracks on that record. Check out "Dream of Unity" and "It's Reciprocal".

  • Brilliant song, one of my favourite BR tracks of all time.

  • yeaaaah

  • I like their clothing style

  • my favorite bad religion song together with no control. Bad religion rocks. I listen to it since I was a little child. thanks for the video

  • Amazing! Great song they don't play that much anymore. Thanks for the post!
