Valencia is an awesome winger...whoever doubted him doesn't appreciate the meaning of a classic winger. He's a beast...he can run the right wing at an amazing pace and get through defenders easily (although w/ fancy dribbling). He has really great ball control, his assists are deadly, and most importantly--his ability to be a winger and at the SAME TIME get a lot of steals and tackles in....in other words hes a COMPLETE midfielder...he does everything.

Nani is just a fancier/flashier dribbler...Antonio Valencia may not be the flashiest player but his speed, assitances, and collective play make up for it. I'm not discrediting Nani, hes an awesome player but I haven't seen him have the impact that Valencia has in these last few games...and Valencia is just adapting right now, hes new....and if you ask me he does have what it takes, hes proving it as we speak for all who doubted. Or did you not see everyone in Old Trafford applaud him today??

Hey pals, I can't say Valencia would be better than CR9 or Nani, even I´m ecuadorian and hope the best for Antonio. Anyway, hope every time in the field, he plays for the team and do his best, sure u want that too. Till now I have enjoyed the few games AV played and think he did it ok... against Besiktas he was awesome, see result of Man of Match poll in Reds offical web page! It´s only a game sure, and only time would tell the true.

i agree, he beat his man a lot in the besiktas game. he doesnt appear to be a good dribbler tho; im noticing that. if he cant push it past the defender and run onto it, he seems lost and almost stuck. but i think he was the best player for United yesterday and i hope more of that is to come.

I think Valencia will settle in quickly. He has pace and i think he will create alot of assists. Nani is more similar to Ronaldo. We wont see many tricks and goals but he is capable of being a good team player. 16m is alot & hopefully he will do well.

After Becks, there was the goal machine van Nistelrooy. When v.Nistelrooy left, that very move by Fergie was questioned and doubted by everyone. But there came along Cristiano Ronaldo. And after seasons of glory, he leaves. Everyone thinks United'll never be the same.
He doesn't throw out tricks and fancy moves, but his turn of pace is amazing, almost like Messi. What's more, he doesn't fail to track back to regain possession.
