While I don't agree with the EDL I don't think that kind of snobbish attitude is necessary. People like the guy in the video seem well meaning but misguided, the rise of the BNP and EDL in the north of england is less ill will and more a symptom of the political abandonment of the northern working class.
While I agree that we should not tolerate the intolerant we should also take time to discuss what made them intolerant in the first place.

Loss of country side is also a concern of mine, thats why I joined the RSPB, this not really the fault of immigration but overpopulation. People need to stop having so many children because in a generation or 2 we will not have the farmland to feed them without destroying more natural habitats. This also adds to climate change.

I'm 18 and I can tell you that sharia law wont enter government anytime soon. Muslims are 3% of the population and most of them are against sharia law.
In Turkey its 80% and they don't have sharia law. we have no muslim party and no MP's in favor of sharia law. It's not an issue.
Now I don't like Islam, I think it's sexist and I think its child abuse to indoctrinate a child into Islam but I have no problem with British Muslims cause they are mostly good people. Don't be scared.
