  • I'd love to have a 1/2 scale version of the Christen Eagle. It's a BEAUTIFUL plane with those original graphics.

  • Hoi!

Nice plane. Say, is hot glue good for gluing foam materials? I build planes out of small grain styrofoam and I usually glue different parts with polymer glue (meant for wood, but glues foam as well). The glue I use is a bit heavy.

    Regards,

    Hamlet

  • maybe if you have a another channel you dont use you can use it as a bomb door with an extra servo on the other channel

  • Haha. Yep. Well I put my light circuit in it. You can see that in my Night flying Christen eagle video. It is very shallow, so it would have to be a small bomb. Haha.

  • hey dave i think i know what the hatch is for, it looks like the battery can fit in their, try it

  • Thats the first thing I tried, as it seemed logical, but it will not fit at all.

  • could you give some advice please i am stuck between a edge 540t and a pitt s-2a please tell what you would prefer and witch is best for hovering thanks

  • The Pitts is designed for extreme aerobatics and snaps very easily, if you don't know how to hover. I think the 540 would be a better hoverer and easier to do.

  • hey i just realized i have been to aero micro! it is an amazing store! they have everything

  • so this set comes with everything except the radio and servo..am i correct? and is your triton the mini one?

  • Yes. My triton is the big original one. This plane is also fragile, with 2 wings to break, but if you dont crash, it will be quite enjoyable.

  • can it hover?

  • Yes, if you know how to fly a helicopter...

  • nice plane, where did you get it and how much?

  • Cox Hobbies (cox wings) $129 complete.

  • Nice Gold Wing

  • Thanks.. You a Winger? If so, you may want to see my video called: "Goldwing with Vertical Stabilizers".

  • oh, the extra compartment is for a NiHD, i want one of these they are great, well worth the $120 and the extra for the radio

  • sorry a NiMh battery

  • Guess that means they sell it "both ways" (Somewhere)! Or, it was designed before LiPos, 'cause I would much rather have the battery in the rear compartment. I put my night flying electronics in there instead, since I "night fly" it a lot. See my other vids for that.

  • yeah, that is quite interesting, and the other two pin plug is a BEC connector, just incase you didn't know, Great videos by the way, this i my favorite among many others because i am going to get one of these for Christams. Happy flying!

  • hey guys do u no where i can find videos like this?

  • PS: Stop the video above before clicking the link, as they will both play at the same time!

  • VIDCAM ON-BOARD! And the first flight tests are done. This link is to a new (non-dizzying version)listed up to top right of your video screen. Just click on (more) and you will find it. Hope you enjoy.

  • Dave, your videos are very helpful. I fly planes too I have the Aspire and couple GWS slow sticks. I can't wait to see your new plane fly!!

  • Do you ever play MS flight sim???I have been playing the newest one and love it. If so, we should fly together!

  • Fabulous! I can't wait to see you fly it. Good job.
