Hey man, you should do these more often. I personally think its time to replace Representative Democracy with Direct Democracy. NI4D is a great first step but I think it needs to be expanded beyond that.
Thanks for the encouragement. I've had ideas for a couple of videos on my mind. I just need to do them when things clear up for me. I really like your channel. Keep up the good work!
I see the NI4D as a tool with limitless possibilities. It would break down so many barriers. It seems so far away given the domination of personality driven politics; it's hard to tell what would happen at the point we overcame these barriers as mainstream thought would change considerably in my estimation.
I think I started using this channel at the end of December 2007, but I started following Mike Gravel on YouTube around this time, so that's about right! Wow, time flies.
Great video. YouTube is a great tool for spreading ideas and philosophizing. I don't know if I'll get in front of the camera myself. Maybe I will... I dunno.
As they say, "there ain't no rest for the wicked".
Thanks. It would be great to have more voices outside the comments. oldhacks does a lot great things, but I we think could offer other points of view to the discussion. Comments don't have the same impact on their own.
Do you have a webcam already? Michael Grant talked me into getting one for Skype.
Stodles absues language all the time. He's a fucked up person!
Good video. I am trying to spread this message to people as much as I can. I like challenging people with it (especially constitutionalists and Ron Paul people). Usually, the resutls are frustrating, but it is worth it . . . Just to get people to recognize the idea.
Thank you. I felt the need to start with something to break the silence. If I am going to encourage other people to make videos and to participate on YouTube, I need to start making some videos myself.
It can take a long time to get past the doublethink that has crystallized through artificial ideological division. I like that buddhagem mention the strategic purposes of such disinformation, as it is often a path toward questioning the false assumptions about democracy that commonly made.
I got a Logitech webcam to use for Skype on amazon last week. A QuickCam Connect is around $25. If you have windows, there's maybe a good chance you have Windows Movie Maker on your computer for simple editing. I think making videos adds a lot to the experience on YouTube and can actually lead to more efficient use of time as it opens more opportunities. Next time I'll probably make notes and prepare more, but I wanted to show how a comment could quickly lead to a video with a modicum of effort.
Have you registered on the ni4d issues wiki yet? That's another way to share ideas and research through an organized format text. YouTube comments tend to get buried easily, so I encourage you to check that out. I'm JamesLR100 over there. I'm still learning to use wikis but I am thinking about maybe writing a few essays other there that could translate to videos or vice versa. For instance, I've developed an interest in binary economics lately and could share my research with others.
Very good first vlog. I'd like to see more from you.

I read the last of Jsickert's comments and I think I remember just being too disgusted to respond.

Have you registered on the wiki yet? As a writer, maybe you have essays that you could contribute.

I'd really like to make some vids, and might when I have the time and equipment in the future.
I at least try to spread the ideas of ni4d to as many people as I can, but I'd like to do more.
