  • The greatest of all time. The Jordan of the nfl!

  • Garcon needs to be less about me and my country and more about focusing about the superbowl, can't forgive his drop that was thrown at the letters

  • Somebody (carnut476) doesn't like Joe Montana much perhaps? Maybe an old Rams fan? :p Bradshaw doesn't get props like he should, but Favre? Favre also has the most INTs ever, 2 NFC Championship choke jobs, ran himself out of a state where he probably could've been Governor if he wanted - don't hear that about Montana . . . or Bradshaw . . . or Aikman . . . or, well, you probably get the point

  • Brett Favre has more stats than Joe Cool can shake a stick at .

  • Comment removed

  • I wanna tell Y'all something , you know what? Terry Bradshaw has as many super bowl rings as Joe what's his name ?

  • Comment removed

  • Joe Cool won 2 without Rice

  • Class guy all the way. And prolly the greatest QB to play the pro game.

  • Montana took his team to the superbowl 4 times and won each time. He is the greatest of all time.

  • @rrrod411 Montana was part of a good system, had the greatest WR all-time, and the great Bill Walsh creating the team for him. Not to mention a great solid defense too. Bradshaw won 4 superbowls too why isnt he in your discussion? You cannot base a individual player on how many championships the team he is on won. Also, Otto Graham won 7 Championships in 10 years he is the greatest based on that

  • @PhillipS5428 Montana was a 2 time MVP also holds record for most TD passes in post season history. Montana was not a system QB he lead the Chiefs to the AFC championship against the Bills in 94. Had he not been knocked out of that game I believe he would have won another Superbowl. Also Montana had won 2 Superbowls before Rice was drafted. He had a career QB rating of 92.3. I don't think Bradshaw is on Montana's level he. Bradshaw had a career QB rating of only 70.9.

  • @PhillipS5428 I can't comment on Graham because he was from another era and I never watched him play. So I'll say Montana is the greatest QB of the modern era.

  • Bradys team went to the playoffs because they still had a really good team from the previous year when they were 16-0, yeah bradys team might be better currently but when he got there in 01 he still lead the team to the 3 sb rings, and for those that bring up belchik... He was a losing record coach till brady came nuff said? Whoever is the best in the end will be decided when they both quit

  • Brady would be nowhere without bill lol

    He would be a nothing.

Meanwhile Tony dungy quits and Peyton goes to the superbowl with a cardboard cut out coach.

  • brady is not better than manning... brady just has and has always had a better team

  • lol i joe an idiot or what he said its easier for peyton manning because he understands more about football not shit maybe if you learned as much as him you be afforeded the same liberties with adubiles on the field

  • pierre garcon is from haiti.. he just had a shaky day.. JUST LIKE HAITI!! HAHAHAHA

  • @BeVersatile09 I guess I must have blocked that out. Was that pic 6 one that cost the Pats the game? I remember they blew huge lead in that game. Funny thing is though you don't hear commentators bring that up when they talk about Brady's legacy. I guess not as much is as expected from him as he was drafted 199 and not 1ST.

  • manning or brady will never touch montana

  • @macktenful That's right. Never. Montana is 4-0 in Super Bowls; Brady is 3 -1, Manning 1 -1. That says it all right there. Montana > Brady > Manning > Rodgers > Brees > Marino > Bradshaw > Elway > Favre > Moon (nearly 70,000 passing yds if you count his Canadian stint BEFORE the NFL).

  • Brady is a choke artist, when was the last time Manning let Brady come from 17 down twice to win the game?

  • @jccollins4 brady is 3-1 in sb, manning is 1-1. brady is 8-4 vs manning. brady is better. suck on it

  • @Aronz1000

Well, Brady does have a MUCH better team. When he was out, their second string QB led them to the playoffs. Obviously, that gives Brady an advantage. Put Brady on the Colts, and watch him be a great, not an incredible football player. Peyton Manning makes a below average ball team above average.

  • @Aronz1000 No one is better than Johnny Unitas. Brees or Aaron Rogers will be second best. Steve Young in top five. Super Bowl victories overrated.

  • @larry3d4 I'm pretty sure they don't. Not to mention he mentioned a player that is always injured, and the Browns wouldnt win shit so you are retarded for even saying that. Freeney is injured a lot to.

  • @ryanjagessar you're a retard 3 players dont make a defense. Not to mention Bob Sanders is ALWAYS injured.

  • @jccollins4 JC I am sorry to say this but on some teams 3 players make a Defense.. If you do not believe me take away Harrison and Troy from the Steelers the D will be awful... Similar with Bal. Take away Lewis Suggs and Reed... If that happend the Browns would be Divison winners... But calling someone a retard over something that is a fact makes you the retard... Thank You

  • otty390 you can go jump in a lake buddy. Tom Brady a choke artist? Peyton Manning playoff record 9-10 Brady's 14-5. Tom Brady 3 rings vs 1 for Peyton. Tom never threw a pick 6 to cost his team the superbowl. All this talk about Peyton Manning never had a good defense like Brady is BS. When you have players like Bob Sanders, Dwight Freeney and Mathis on your defense then you have a decent defense. Manning is simply a CHOKE ARTIST!!!

  • @ryanjagessar brady threw a pick 6 in 06 or did u block that out

  • Manning will never surpass Montana.

  • @TheTruthfulAsshole bwahaha i read this and couldn't stop laughing b/c i dont think any qb can surpass him if one did then...i would idk...b amazed?

  • @BeVersatile09 Brady might, though it would have helped had he not lost XLII.

  • its so funny when people try to trash talk Manning and Brady. it just makes them sound retarded.

  • if peyton would have played on detroit lions for this whole time he would not be shit just like tom brady if you want a real football player look at barry sanders he played on the worst team ever for his whole time and ifhe would have still been playinhe would have broke the rushing record easily emmitt smith is nothing compared to barry sanders

  • @matlflass tom brady took over a team that already made it to a super bowl in the last 7 years, he had a superbowl team. he had the best coach of this decade, he had one of the most aggressive defenses of all time. peyton? he had one of the most miserable teams in the last couple decades, no defense, and defensive head coaches that still cant get a decent defense going. the ONE thing peyton had was marvin, and if he took over the lions he would have calvin johnson, jahvid best, a return game

  • @matlflass (continued) and he would have a defense that CAN stop a fly to say the least. so if he took over the lions, he would put up better numbers, just look at him now, he has backup WRs, backup OL, backup RB, backup TEs, and he still puts up more than 4000 yards and 30 TDs a year. so if you think that going to an actual better team would hurt peyton than you are poorly mistaken. and by the way, tom would do worse with the lions because of the advantages he would lose being a patriot.

  • @ColtonSaylor713What was BB before Brady? He was awful.but im sure you already knew that..The Pats went 5-11 the year before brady and started the next year 0-2 before Brady came in.so good try on the coach excuse..And defense? You want to talk D?If it wasnt for his D manning has 0 rings.3tds to 7 intsduring his sb run..are you kidding me? And youre comparing him to Brady? And I just saw you posted that a while ago but to update you Brady just had a record setting year with avg wrs and 2 rookie tes

  • Tom Brady is the real choke artist. 0-3 in his last 3 playoff games. 4-5 in his last 9. Peyton at least has the MVP's

  • @8cruz88 you are right, he is a choke artist in the post season, typically its not just him choking. its his receivers I.E. Dallas clark against San Diego on 4th down. Garcon countless times on any down. Not having Dwight Freeney or Jarraud Powers in last years superbowl, HUGE LOSSES to the defense. No doubt in my mind peyton chokes, but for me to blame him for the team losing is ridiculous. A team is 53 people, 11 on the field at any given time.

  • Its funny how alot of these comments are not giving manning any credit. Sure he's not on montana's level(YET) but Peyton is mos def one of the Top 5 Qb's of all time. Yes he had play makers on offense but the Defense has never been great but ok. Brady had outstanding defenses(Bruschi, Seymour, Ty law, Vrabel. etc) and no one has more pressure than him casue he runs the offense. No other qb does. He doesnt choke, he just had one bad play....Who doesnt have a bad play time to time?

  • @TnsuTuba13 peyton and brady are both great qb

  • Gman

    Your fucking stupid

Stats don't say Peytons the best to ever do it. And back when Joe played there was very little competition I repeat VERY LITTLE COMPETITION why the fuck do you think nobody talks about Terry Bradshaw back then there wasnt shit. And I dont think being a 4 time MVP is overrated

And Peyton doesn't have a shit load of weapons he makes his receivers look good

Nor has he ever had a good D to back him up like most otherguys like Brady had

Put manning on the pats with a

  • @ferrarimike23 Peyton's D is not bad... wtf why does everyone say that... Dwight Freeney, Robert Mathis, Andrea Bethea, and Bob Sanders there are 4 pro bowlers on that defense, even if bob sanders is injured alot 3 probowlers on the defense is alot more than alot of defenses.

  • @ferrarimike23 Marvin Harrison is considered to be in the top 10 greatest hands of all time. A QB can't make a receiver have great hands, Marvin Harrison himself was great. Edgerrin James has gotten rushing titles and made the all decade team. Stop giving me this bs about everybody is only good because of Manning that is belittling the skills of all the players on the colts. Peyton Manning has always had weapons, and favorite targets.

  • @ferrarimike23 very little competition? I wouldn't say Marino, Elway, Fouts, and Simms very little competition.

  • @ferrarimike23 no competition back then..get the fuck outta here, joe played against great teams that have good qb's like marino, simms, fouts, elway, mcmahon, theisman, cunningham, esiason, plunkett n kosar..lets not forget, back in 80's n early 90's..there werent any special rules protecting receivers n qb's like today's NFL..back then, you can jam a receiver 20 yds down the field n you dont get a flag for a late hit on the qb..today's NFL is too soft,still..marion n fouts put up great numbers back then.

  • Peyton Manning is the most overrated Quarterback to ever play the game, and here is fans saying "yeah he lost the Super Bowl but he's still the best Quarterback of all time" in this video is Joe Montana who played in not 2, but 4 Super Bowls, and won every single one of them, and never turned the ball over in the big game. You people probably were not even alive when Joe was destroying teams. Joe won 2 SB's with Jerry Rice. Peyton has had tons of weapons and has only one ring.

  • Had Garcon not dropped that huge 3rd down conversion the colts could have put their foot on the saints throats with a TD or FG from that drive making the first half score of 17-6 and the who knows the saints could have still kicked it onside but the fact is the colts had all the momentum they needed to put their foot on the gas. The real loser of superbowl 44 was pierre garcon ill throw his ass under the bus any day because he has had the worst QB-WR completion percentage in the league

  • @otty390 So true brother, so true.

  • @otty390 Peyton Manning is 9-10 in the playoffs LOL.....it's funny how when the Colts win all the Colts fans want to give Manning all the credit but when they lose they want to blame everyone else lol, just face it Manning is a CHOKE ARTIST.......i mean sure he plays great in the regular season but in the playoffs he sucks....just saying

  • @otty390 And people call Peyton a choke...

  • Comment removed

  • Im pretty sure the saints outplayed the colts in the second half. Peyton is the best quarterback that will ever play the game and has proved that with his orchestration of the Indy offense and the tight windows he fits throws into constantly. This year hes been off, but so has the entire team. When you start 23 new guys that have never set foot on a football field and you still manage to be in every game because of 1 person I think that about says it.

  • Peyton Manning is OVER RATED.

Get over it. The better Quarterback, out played him in the Super Bowl. The better Quarterback didn't pick the worst time to throw an interception, as Peyton is famous for, and the better Quarterback didn't pout like a little bitch to the locker room instead of shaking hands.

  • Jesus, it's no wonder why Joe Cool went a perfect 4 for 4 in superbowl games. His focus, discipline, and intensity when it comes to the big game is un matched. I equate Joe Montana's pefect 4 for 4 superbowl record to Michael Jordan's 6 for 6 & Tim Duncan's 4 for 4 NBA Finals record.

  • the description is wrong. joe is not being compared to peyton, peyton is being compared to joe. difference.

  • a lot of manning vs montana comments. short and simple. manning better stats than montana. true. Montana better at clutch moments than manning. true. Come on NFL fans. stats is important but what matters the most is what happens on the field. thats why Joe Montana is 4-0 in Superbowls and manning is 1-1. if joe montana would have played for the colts instead of manning he would have won like 10 superbowls with marvin harrison and reggie wayne. LOL!

  • cause joe had rice

  • @TheCommentKing123 Not for the first 2 he didn't.

  • You think Joe Montana laughs at Peyton because he always does a Peyten Manning in crucial games ? Joe never had that problem.

  • Joe Montana does not get compared to peyton manning. Princess Peyton does not get mentioned int the same conversation as Montana.

  • @brocky70 I hate to break it to you, but you just did it twice.

    Manning rules.

  • Respond to this video... Well rule of exclusion of course. Tell Me, does manning rule before or after he blows the superbowl? Joe never had a Pick in 4 appearances, manning has had 1 in each of his.

  • @brocky70 Hell, I'm not even going to try and say Montana isn't one of the greatest ever, probably still THE greatest right now.

Know what though? Manning doesn't have Rice, the 49ers defence always gets overlooked too in my opinion. Manning has more TDs than Montana does, and he's not even done yet, 4 league MVPs and he has better stats overall too (and will have even beaten Favre when he finally calls it a day. One more Superbowl, he's at least on a par with Montana, 2 more, he's the best.

  • @W4iteGoodman Except IF, big IF mind you, peyton gets 2 more he'll still be 3-1 to montana's 4-0. And Montana didn't even have rice for his first 2 rings, unlike manning who had Harrison his whole career. and I'm sorry Career stats? You mean the inflated ones due to rule changes by Manning's own GM? I'm sorry i don't go by stats, or the popularity contest that is the league MVP award. Montana wins hands down even if Manning somehow manages to get back to the big game, much less win it

  • @brocky70 3-1, at least 4 League MVPs, most TDs and Yards ever, and you pretty much HAVE to crown Manning best ever right there.

Whether it will happen is as you say, debatable, (and Manning doesn't have Harrison right now, but I see your point.)

    To each his own.

  • @W4iteGoodman so even at 4-0 over mannings 3-1 you would still take manning, you do realize that Championships trump all other accomplishments right? Quit talking about mvp awards, no one takes those seriously

  • @brocky70 At 3-1, over 40,000 career yards, over 400 TDs, and then a nice little cherry of the 4MVPs on top, I'd say you HAVE to take Manning.

Dan Marino is amongst the best QBs to ever play the game, he didn't win a SB.

Sure, rings are the most important things, but I'd say that great stats make up for 1-2 rings, so 3-1 and all the other things against 4-0 with not as great stats, I'm taking Manning.

"Greatest ever" not "Most successful ever."

  • @W4iteGoodman most championships makes you the greatest ever. not stats. at the end of the day you cannot overcome the rings. throw in the fact the modern day game plays to qbs (largely in part to mannings own annoying gm polian) and the way manning lost that superbowl, you cannot place him as the best ever. end of story.

  • @brocky70 and you do relize that it takes a team of 53 to win a superbowl right, peyton never had the defence and last year didnt have a defence or running game and took them to the super bowl! this team with any other qb would be lucky to get in the playoffs. it also kills me when people talk about the colts great wr's. guess what wayne, marvin, yes they would be starters on every team but not always the # 1, peyton made these guys great, kinda the way rice made joe, and montana look great

  • @coalandnuclear except Montana won two without rice. and montana plawed flawlessly in the big game. Harrison is a hall of famer, and Manning's had him his whole career. Wayne could be if he wanted. but everyone makes excuses for manning when he throws picks in playoff games. no one ever had to make excuses for montana.

  • @brocky70 Um...he had the most talented players you've ever heard of. BTW, anyone who breaks down tape has said that manning has done more for his team than anyone else. instead of arguing with me or other fans. just think about that. Ron Jaworski, greg cosell and merill hodge, the three ppl who break down Coaches tape from nfl films said that.

  • @TheSlothook tape is just another word for numbers. Numbers don't win games, players do. Stats is all manning has. Just because he plays in a soft division in a pass happy nfl doesn't give him status with the true legends of the game.

  • @brocky70 I don't quite follow. Tape doesn't just mean stats, tape means they look at things like formations, pass routes, field vision etc...all the things you cannot judge from stats. And ok, yes he played in a passing league era, but I never saw the old legends and unless you saw them its hard to make a direct comparison. But, if you watch and compare all the qbs currently, no one does what manning does and most defensive coordinators widely agree that manning is the hardest person to stop

  • @TheSlothook Just as a further pt, the d coordinators voted manning the hardest player to stop and this was done after brady;s crazy 50 td season.

  • @TheSlothook lets not forget that the year peyton threw 49 touchdowns, he sat out at least 5 and a half minutes of the 4th quarter in 6 different games, Brady sat out game time of 2 fourth quarters the year he threw 50. Belli-cheat and Brady ran up the score on worthless defences and still he only threw one more td than manning, Although I will admit Brady is a freaking stud QB. One of few guys in any sport that actually improves with added pressure.

  • @brocky70 ALso, if it were all about rings, then u think bradshaw is the 2nd best qb right? and tied with montana with 4 sbs

  • damn joe....you got some girly-man arms.......hit the gym much?

  • @rocketman6464 muscular atrophy man
