Probably the most impressive and emotional song of Eric! And it was incredible that was from 1990 after the broke up from Arista...great moments, great time, when music was all...I loce it and I expect a remastered version soon
If you want to respect the work of the deceased genius, you had better put up a better video. This one looks as if I am in Switzerland trying to get Egyptian or Maroc TV via a stone-old broken satellite receiver ;-)
Time... flowins like river... to the sea! Y allí nos reuniremos todos.
His spirit will always live on in his music... farewell Eric Woolfson. Thank you for what you have left us, music that goes near the borders of what could be heaven...
It's a little late but at least I knew before the decade ended... Long live the Alan Parsons Project!
Goodbye Eric, one of the greatest of the world, no doubt, the world has lost one of the most finest composers and musicians. Personally, your music with Alan were by far the most beautiful I have ever heard, you could never imagine what it meant to me, maybe someday we will meet, because i am sure that our souls have shared emotions at some dimension out of space and time, Goodbye friend and father!!
Rest in Peace - You have been and always will be one of the best Musicians I have ever known... Right after Beethoven.... Thank you for your Music! We will miss you!
I Received with a lot of grief and surprise the death from one of my great idols ...I wish you have developed in this planet knowing that left you vary seeds that will germinate and they will remind your exceptional work ...Thanks for your work... that in a next incarnation, You comes with the same talent and find other " Alan Parsons " to create wonderful other project!!!
whats with agnes hendersons comment if its a reaction to the alan eric split so be it however distasteful they may be.
what we forget after making comments like this is eric and alans music currently alans touring with his live project and erics some where in this world concieving if not writing for the musical stage these two were not only brilliant colaborators they also are apart i
Awesome doesn't being to cover it. Eric Woolfson has such a soulful voice, and it just fills every song he sings. APP was and is my favorite group ever, and I listen to their CDs all the time. "Freudiana" is one of the best albums ever, from anybody.
Very interesting question. You're mostly right. Although the album cover doens't report any artist name (except for a mysterious "Freud" in mirrored character) and the A side started as the 11th APP album, before it was decided to make a musical from it. It's an album in midway bewteen APP and solo EW, on which we can see in real time the passage/extending of Eric's style from APP to the world of theatrical musical.
@stevecouncil: Since you didn't post this comment as a reply I see it only now by case.
Both if you refer to this video, or to the APP remasters about which I talked in another reply to you, they worked together. On APP remasters, though there's no new material recorded today, actually Alan did remastering while both, overall Eric, got much unpublished material from the70s/80s archives and commented it. LOTS of info on the official website the-alan-parsons-project[dot]com with great news.
Of course certainly with the talent like sound engineer of Alan Parsons, Eric Woolfson I emphasize with this album before that Lenny Zakatek should come to the band.
A united album for the psychodelic experiences that Alan experienced during his career as producer and that of Eric Woolfson applying his instrumental trend up to separating definitively and to establish itself in Austria for the philharmonic one
Definitely the best song of the best album, so complex and so deep, the video is exactly as you imagine it when you listen to the song. Im so proud Eric chose Freudian theory as the theme of his last work with the band knowing this is considered to be the most complete and baroque album. Too bad we couldnt see him performing live such perfect musical pieces. I dont think Eric is awared of the impact he has in music history all around the world, see i am mexican.

Why did Eric leave Alan?
sorasmusic 2 years ago
Different directions for music. Eric wanted to go more toward musicals, while Alan wanted to continue with the concept/collaborative efforts.
You can feel some of that feeling in the song "Limelight".

On that tv program the video is labeled as an Alan Parsons Project's song, but actually shouldn't it be credited as an Eric Woolfson work?
