How do you managed to mix the sound effects with the soundtrack of the PSX version?

Is it possible to switch of the soundtrack and only play the sound effects in the PC version?

In never played the PC version, but captured the scenes from a Playstation to create a trilogy of FF7 two years ago. And I was always dissatisfied that I was not able to get the sound effects without the soundtrack.

he shouldn't know what it it is yet, cloud explains it to him in seventh heaven.

Also, cloud would already know what it is, He already has two.

Actually the purpose of Cloud explaining it to Barret is to be a tutorial for the player playing the actual game. It's not for the actual storyline. I try to make the fandub more cinematic. (hold the X button to run, etc.). Do you think that I should dub the tutorials?

Well yeah. Cloud already knows what a materia is. Barret was just telling him to get it so it could help him in battles.

Other than that little bit with Barret's that bugs me, the voices sound perfect, matching with both each character's personalities, and looks. Like Jesse! Her voice sounded perfect! Maybe I just think Barret's should be deeper... Hehe, it does seem weird to hear him talk somewhat like a drill sergeant.

No we didn't. I just chose the different pronunciation of "Mako" is all. I didn't really like how it was pronounced "Mock-Koh". I think it sounds weird. I personally think "May-Koh" sounds better. But thank you for watching this fandub regardless.

only other thing i have a small complaint about are the voice levels. some of clouds lines are too soft, and i can't really hear it.

I'll admit, I had my doubts at the start, but one thing I like the most is that the instructional parts are cut out, making it flow like an actual story to watch. And the additional dialogue is a great touch as well.

This is good. Cloud (AlleviatedSoul) voice is really good, but he needs to get some better audio equipment or something it is too grainy. Jessie (TianaSidhe), too much echo or something in the room she is voice recording in. The video production and pacing of the whole thing was well done. If those extra lines are what characters say if you actually talk to them then it was a great idea to just have them say it as you are running around.

Just get a pop filter. It is a must to do quality recordings. You can buy one on amazon for about 22 bucks including shipping or you can make one yourself, but you might as well just buy one to save on effort and time.

What do you mean by Jessie? Do you mean by the mic or the voice just don't suit her? I apologize about the lag on the video. I used Fraps to record the PC version of that game and it went a little slow 'cause I didn't know what the best setting is for that game. I would agree, the acting is spot on, but the music is on the loud end, it makes it difficult to hear them at times.
