  • my belief is that melt banana is noise , thats what i catogirized them as they are awesome

  • @pressakapavinn I personally like to categorize them into the absurd genre of grind-noise-pop

  • Mom can I get a Japanese riot for birthday?

    (said with huge Bambi eyes;)

  • When I was a teenager,I practiced guitar by copying his guitar style.

As a result, my basic guitar skills like arpeggios are the same as when I was a teenager.

  • 2 dislikes? sure justin bieber and rebeca black came here

  • essa musica já é um classico da insanidade!

  • 2 people have soft, delicate ears

  • really kool!

  • really kool!

  • Really like this . Reminded me of the prodigyat beginning. Nice , Thankyou:)

  • Crush Kill Destroy.

  • This song's sound is equivalent to the sensation one would feel while having aggressive sex in a spaceship full of firecrackers and howler monkeys, all the while the spaceship hurling into the sun, about to grant you an instant, searing death.

    That was a compliment.

  • @MutantClannfear Instant and searing kinda goes against one another. :P

  • @frididjurhuus Searing - having the capability to burn the surface of an object quickly with intense heat

  • @MutantClannfear

couldnt have said it better myself

  • thats what i love about melt banana. they have their own awesome, distinctive style

  • awesome

  • @Kunibuler same as me! Yesterday I was annoyed, today I can't stop listening haha

  • DAMN. Yesterday someone recommended them to me, so i listened to them. First I was annoyed by her singing, but now I can't stop listening. It's stuck in my head. I need to get their CDs.

  • my life exploded

  • ........ THE FUCK

  • Saw them last night on there Europe tour in Newcastle, England. Their live performance matches their gigs. Absolutely mental and the best honest punk band I have heard in a long time!

  • Bring the Noize-Core. Awesome band.

  • What is this Japanese noise and why do I like it?

  • im a dad, i listen to this. 15+ years.

  • micky mouse for the win

  • My dad listen to this.

Forty years old kris very much ._.

    But they're good ^^

  • The beginning reminds me of a certain enemy in the first Half-Live computer game.

  • Lightning Bolt should do a cover of this song.

  • agata is my favorite guitarist......and the band is one of my favorite bands!!!!

  • la raja

  • yea this band is soo good, especially even for those who arent normally into any noise stufff... the guitarist is sick..

  • frikin wicked man

  • Me and a buddy are sittin in the balcony waiting for Fantomas to come on stage when Melt Banana opened with this song. Neither of us had heard of this band and were completely dumbfounded. I bought the album the next day.

  • This is amazing. I'm really glad that there are bands out there that are pushing the envelopes.

  • Its not just Agatas whammy pedal, its the (?) boss sampler pedal he uses. Not to mention the slide being used like a 5th finger. This guy redefined extreme guitar about 12 years ago and hes still doing it

  • This song is freaking awesome!

  • Cell-scape is on it's way to my house right now. I can't fucking wait. Just found out about these guys. Agata steals my heart with that Whammy Pedal =)

  • fucking awesome trackkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaak

  • This song is fucking sick. Not quit as chaotic as their earlier stuff (relatively speaking), but still way more insane than most of what's out there.

  • holy moly - wher e have i been until now ? - this is astonishing ! :-0

  • i saw this band 3 times in a dive bar in eureka ca(in the late 90's) and each performance was just fucking amazing. i have noticed that the last post from them was from feb. of 09, hope they're still a band, i would love to see them another 3 times. saw Deerhoof some years ago also and Melt Banana is way better.

  • I always thought labelling Melt Banana (and Boredoms, for that matter) as noise was a bit off of the mark. When I think of noise, I think of Merzbow or Masonna. This is noisy stuff to be sure, but a helluva lot more traditionally musical

  • well there newer stuff has gone away from being straight noise, but there earlier stuff was definitely noise. the album "Charlie" seem to be there turning point

  • except Im pretty sure this band has been around

    WAY longer than Deerhoof....

  • Melt Banana - 1992

    Deerhoof - 1994

    :)

  • Just perfect shiiii* \m/

  • ...what the fuck is this?

  • Just discovered them today, holy shit I love this shit. It's like Deerhoof on speed.

  • @WolfataDoor

ive known this band for a couple of weeks and just love them...but now that youve mentioned Deerhoof im a bit sad cuz all i know about them is that they performed at my country something like a couple of weeks ago so i feel like i have missed something good =((

  • SINGING IS SO COOL!! (^-^)

  • Toy Machine Suffer The Joy!

  • they should call them intricate noise but damn this is dope SHIT!!!!!!!

  • sounds like a seizure... in a good way =)

  • I concur!

  • This is GREAT.

  • what do you have against Japan? and yeah guitars are impressive.

  • I love how the guitarist controls feedback to get his sound.

    This band = Just fantastic...

  • Best song ever

  • one hell of a kickass band.

  • The guitar is awesome, the bass is even more awesome, and the singer is fucking HAWT!!! \m/
