@sledingfourlife well when we were there the snow sucked so we managed, but the one day it snowed like 10 inches up high we had some trouble. They are too short for anything but wet spring snow
144" track with 2" paddles = perfect jump sled. but ride a 156", kind of a hill climb, jump hybrid trackk. but where i live we dont have trails to ride on, its all back country. :)
@JoeythePope WOW what are the odds i got a 2002 classic. i love it if its got on/prem us premium gas its night and day. and in 2 feet of snow it powers through. boondocking or trailriding they are great
Yea it has the on/prem on the switch. And I got a 1.75 inch track and super wide powder ski's so it should be good in the pow. Can't wait for the white stuff!!!
Sorry, I put 2002 there my XC SP is a 2003. I'm not sure of the clearance but the 1 7/8 inch studs clear the tunnel fine. We have some weird weather this year the rest of Canada has plenty of snow but we have none.
@PDotSledding takes more muscle to handle a long track and were im from u dont have a long track u cant get off the trail and trail riding is for sissies
Haha i got 1974 ski-doo elan 250 (t)I can get pretty mad air off drifts and ditches about 3-7 feet someday i hope to get a better sled But anyways nice video Keep up the good work ; )
you realize all that stuff that broke was cuz u got ski-doos right? ;)
jk but seriously, in all my group's riding we got cats, yammis, and polarises and the worst we had was a blown bearing in the old 1990 phazer, and a few blown belts n spark plugs
What are the best shocks that I can put on a Ski-doo 600 rev that at the same time doesn't overly lighten the wallet. I do a lot of rough trail and back country riding.
Thanks man. 1000$ isn't bad compare to where I would regularly go. I go to a dealership called Carsons but those guys want nearly double. Probably cause they are a dealer eh?
hey i also am thinking about getting a 440. i love to jump as ditch bang aswell as boondock when i can around here. im from minnesota. every once in awhile we go on the trails a little bit but not much. should i go with a 440 or just a X package 800 or 600?
That is true I got my old 440 polaris classic struck in some deep powder. Faught that thins to get it out, but it just didn't have enough to get through it. Meanwhile, my friend was riding my 2004 Rev 600 and he went through it no problem.
Do you think a 2003 MXZ-X 440 is a good trail machine is it made for racing and doing what you guys are doing in this video? Basically is a MXZ-X 440 a good trail machine is only made for racing and mountain?
