Zakk records with dean guitars. He only used Les pauls for several reasons.

1)to potray his image as a randy roads cloan.

2) He is bound by contract to play is signature les pauls while doing live performances.

3) He has been a long tme Dean guitar player. Just look from his early ages. always had a dean
