I know what you mean, you can go to a music store, help the artist a crapload and buy their cd for 14 bucks OR you can illeagly get it free on limwire or the pirate bay... its almost sad...in fact, it is sad.
most common musician jobs that produce enough money for people to get by and let you do your art are teaching music, as a tutor or in a school or something like that, it is quite easy to get such a job or try finding a band and getting a contract with a bar or something that has live music often eg get a contract to play there once a week for that money.... anyhow your music is great you really got something good there keep up the good work...and DON'T quit...:P
hey man i feel your pain i had a freind who had the same problem.i have a couple of solutions that he did.get a job and lay of the guitar for a few weeks or years or form a band and make as twice as you made playing solo. wish you good luck. you freind narutoman4567
I've got a job - two, in fact :) I work at a newspaper during the day, and I work as an independent artist/photographer/web designer/consultant in my free time. Living costs a lot of money, though. I've already got a good chunk of recording gear, but the stuff I'll need for this album will at least be a new noise cancellation system and a new guitar - preferrably, I'd also like to actually have CDs printed and hire a mastering engineer..
I have my regular electric (which is falling apart - see my other vids), my electric resonator, a cheap classical, and a cheap bass. The guitar I'm saving up for is going to be my first "nice" guitar. I had originally planned to just use my electric reso, but the tone doesn't sit well for the style I'm doing, and it is noisy as all get out in the neck pickup (which is what I use most of the time).
i believe i was down there that night

HEY!!! Perhaps you should read the site of this artist before commenting on how sad it is. The Record Label is Dead! Long Live the Record Label.

Why do you need a new guitar, how many do you have right now?

I myself have a cheap guitar but my parents say they won't buy me a good one until I am really good. I told them never mind, I will just make one:)
