I can certainly agree that Mother Savior wasn't that great of a fan-game, but is there anything specific that you find displeasing from the songs themselves? It would definitely be helpful to get a clearer input on the matter.

Actually, the "You Won!" music from Mother 2 +3 was from Mother, except it played only when you got an unconscious member from your party back. I can't wait for a full release!

Ugh. The standard "YOU WIN!" sounds badly off key, the boss battle "YOU WIN!" just sounds like a mess, and the levelup music borderlines earrape. Your game over music is great though.

Normal battle tune victory sounding off-key? Or is it simply the video sound compression proccess that cause this. I've made the tune itself and listened to it many times and it does not sound off-key. I can give you the actual MP3 itself to hear if you would like. As for the boss tune victory, same thing; it's possible the compresser had ruin the tune itself.

The samples from EB and M3 sounded right. It's the initial fanfare that sounds bad. The loop is fine, but a bit loud.

It sounds like you tried mixing the traits of the notes in both standard fanfares; EB's long notes are much higher than the buildup and the second one is lower than the first. The M3 long notes aren't too much higher than the buildup and repeat themselves. So, you ended up with lower long notes that step down, and it just doesn't sound right.

As for the level-up music, it sounds like you tried the MOTHER version, but you just have the worst instrument for it. I don't know what you used, but I think that something like bells would sound better.

This I can understand and would be pretty easy to revise.

The only thing that brings about a problem in redesigning the victory tunes is actually designing all the notes by scratch again. Both are loud, I can tell, but unless I have the free time or find somewhere where I can get either MOTHER midi victory tune, these tunes aren't changing at anytime. (Except for the level-up toon, that I can easily fix up.)

Why did you only play one song for Mother 1 the entire time?

I was a MOTHER newbie at the time; I really didn't know much about the very first installment of the series. I only started playing the game not too long ago.

if you want to draw attention to Ninten try giving hime a soil blue shirt and pants and remove details on the hat. I like to see ninten and ness distinguishable

That could be easily arranged, but the other question to this is if other people besides you would like both Ness and Ninten distinguishable. Some are used to their similar appearance, but some are used to seeing them differently.

Most likely to be the end result of this case is that Ninten will have some features that it will be easier for viewers to tell both Ness and Ninten apart.

Awesome I really hope you do a redention of Pollyanna beacause it wouldn't be Mother without it. I'd also like to see Bein' Friends come back as well as some of the other Vocal tracks from mother 1 only with your own special flare to it. Also I wonder what song in store for the melodies this time since there were eight melodies in the first eight sounds in the second and Mother 3 had a song called 16 melodies. So I wonder whats in store in that department for this game.

Oh and when I say vocal I don't mean there has has to be someone singing. What I meant was because Pollyanna has many differen't versions of it but they're not vocal I just call them vocal songs because thats my way of lumping them together. Its just I'd like to see what a modern day Bein' Friends (Smash Bros. doesn't count as it was both Bein' Friends and Eight melodies) would be like as well as the other songs that were vocal would sound like in your music form. You know revive them *2bcont.*

The music is not bad, but sometimes it seems like it's trying to overpower something. A good example is the music that plays when you defeat a boss. Other than that, it's fine.

Do you mean volume-wise or actually feeling this overpowering feeling?

I viewpoint of the Boss Victory tune as to promote that feeling of "relief" and "power". You just defeated a boss, so such a powering tune would match the scene and let the players know that they indeed won the battle, no matter how hectic it was.

Mother 2 was effin' hard =_= Espicially Pre-Giygas vagina/womb/cave thing. I'm not the far into Mother 3...I just got the first needle pulled by the special cutscene where the first of the Magiyspies died...But, anyway, I love the music.

Once I found this, I checked out some of your other Mother Savior videos, and I gotta say, the game is looking great. This music comparison is also very nice.

I like the death music for your game. IMO, has the Mother touch to it. Keep it up, and I mean everything. I look forward to this game.

Thanks, it's always good to see others glad about the game. I assume most people would just send in hate comments for the many reasons (Pokemon, plot twists, etc.)

I not only plan to create this game as a huge fan gift to Nintendo, but I also intend to let all the fans of Mother and such something to enjoy.

Mother Savior is somewhat closer related to Mother out of the three, so yay for appreciation. ^_^
