Hello Ricardo. I am a musician and believer, and just want to say it is good to hear there are still some musicians who will sing and preach of the centrality of the Gospel, which is the cross. Wow. I am trying to come up with words. The Power of the Cross means so much more to me than just salvation. It means healing. It brings restoration. It brings love. It brings connection. It brings authority that we have to approach the throne of God. We are such a blessed people that we have all that and more from the Cross.We have such a freedom in Him that only He can truly give. Most of all, I guess it means NO MORE CHAINS as the song states. This song brings freedom everytime I hear it!

To me, the power of the cross is not about just one big event, but a series of moments every day that continuously build in power. The daily reminders you get of how awesome God is, how He is always listening to you no matter how big or small it may seem. He's always with you and even when life may get so busy that you've forgotten to make time for Him, He hasn't forgotten about you.

God's grace is what brings us access to the cross and the blood Jesus shed for us washes us clean of all unrighteousness...This powerful song reminds me of that very thing.
