Can someone help me? I fell in love with Tamaskans but it's a new breed and I'm from Serbia and probably it is very expensive and hard to find :/ Where can I find them? Thank you
@andyt2k Husky have no wolf content at all :/ They are a old breed and closey related to the wolf but thay have had no no wolf breedings for god knows how long. Just like any old northern dog breed. They resemble the wold so well cause they have been bred in the same type of enviroment.
Tamaskan are amazing dogs, you are so lucky to the video owner
The way the rabbit jumped towards the end of video, my sister calls it a "bink" (not sure if that's the actual word), but that's bunny body language for "I'm happy."
But anyway, huskies aren't part wolf but they are decedent from wolves (as with all dog breeds) and are one of the breeds that is most closely related to wolves.
@BrandonW2220 was a tamaskan originally a mix of to dogs and now a pure bred like siberian huskys? half husky half wolf. not sure that made sense what i said but yea
@evanatromitoszarsaz Well, sort of. All pure breds were made by mixing different dogs to get trates they were looking for. When breaders set out to make the Tamaskan Dog they took several dogs that had wolf like qualities and mated them and took offspring that looked the most like a wolf and mated them. after they got to the point that they were looking for the bread was born.
Reminds me of the relationship between my rabbit and my dogs, lop-eared rabbit, golden retreiver and springer spaniel. The spaniel had caught and killed plenty of rabbits in her life time, but she treated the rabbit as if he was a puppy, the worse he ever got was a bit slobbery behind the ears! The retriever had never caught anything and never will, they would play and sleep happily together, the dogs following the rabbit, the rabbit thinking it was a dog :)

I bet if it was a wild rabbit he'd eat it.

Before my dog (my baby) passed away, there was this one time in the summer when he discovered and ate some rabbits in our backyard.
My dad wasn't too amused but I was so proud of my dog. I felt he had 'become a man' so to speak.
Oh god I loved my dog so much; every time we went out for walks I would give him a hug every time he sat down because he was so cute!

@geordiegaviino not in the wild but you can get a husky wolf pup. they mostly cross a little malamute in to to lessen the wolf characteristics.

snow54445 2 years ago
nope it is a dog breed to look as much like a wolf as possible
BrandonW2220 2 years ago 13
Related to the Husky which is part wolf so like half wolf 3 times removed. Like a 3rd cousin of someone who is half french

LOL what an analogy! hahaha

She lives with me now and she gets on just as well with my 4 cats. She's a lovely girl, so gentle and sweet, very loving and kind. :)
