  • Mexican culture is very diverse, they still perform their culture from their Indian origin to Spanish.

  • it very important the art of that music i really like it thnks wake tanka

  • Odinsguitar12. It is NA. Were part of the same people. When we came thousands of yrs ago we spread from the far north (Alaska and Canada) to the far south (the very tip of south America). We are part of the same people so we have cultural similarities. And tribes along n. Mx and am sw/s. Can. And north am. traded, crossed, and even intermarried at times! The borders were imposed by the colonizers.

  • Nevinjarek. That is so wrong. I can tell you. I know for a fact that the Spaniards absorbed a lot of indigenous societal structure. Even the religion is completely different in mx because of the mix between cultures. The food, language, art, everything! The cultural of the people was not wiped out, rather it was absorbed and transformed! Just like 60% of Mexicans today are a mix of both indigenous and European. Just look at one of the major holidays : dia de Los muertos.

  • Very nice music. I am a Mexican living in Canada. I wish the Mexican Government will promote this musicians. Unfortunately the Politicians are very selfish. Most of my people get selfish with power. A good education and formation can change this mentality, in just one generation.

  • Gracias. No somos mexicanos, pero Nahuatlaca.Tenemos que volver a nuestras raíces y vivir en paz con la tierra.

  • Thank you. We Nahua people ( we are not mexicans, but Nahua) need to get back to our roots and live in peace with the land.

Not only BBC and CNN but even AlJazeera TV strongly condemns disgusting HATE crimes against mankind by Chinese regime&its people in this century.PRC did sabotage dispatch of full UN Protection force in UN security council.PRC supplied AKs, grenades&other killing machines to African dictators for blood oil.

  • I show no loyalty to Spanish language and christian-catholic religion.

  • you dont have to be loyal to anyone but kindness is deserved by all humans

  • thanks for sharing this, was very interesting to see.

  • I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS AZTEC, MAYAN, CHIAPAN, or music from any specific Mexican tribe, but these instruments were common to all and they're all pre-hispanic.

  • @lenvopnfjord I dont think, im mexican and the prehispanics dont have flutes and tambs, this two was of the africans what com to Mexico whit the conquerors.

amd the "maracas", definitely dont are mexicans!!!!! The tribes used seeds in feet and hands in order that on having danced they were producing sound.

and... oh my!!!!! they dont use MArimba!!!!!!!!!! jajajaja its so funny!!!!!

  • @blackmoon1211 what is the native Mexican music??? Im mexican and all I can find about the country's old music is rancheras and mariachi.

  • @blackmoon1211 The native ppl of mexico did nd do have flutes! And the marimba was created by the native ppl of guate mala.

  • you are stupid what you learn in history class is wrong.

  • Sorry about that.

  • In El Salvador they persecuted anyone who represented native culture, but there was resistance and leftist groups put an end to it.

  • its true, not in general...but in majority yes

  • @axum3000 exaclty, people always talk about mexicans and their 'roots', when we have none, we are 100% (defective) spaniard culture. There exist no thing such as old mexican history, the only mexican history that exists is the one that branches out of spain, because mexico isnt based on the prehispanic cultures.

  • @NevinJarek With all due respect what ur saying is totally wrong. We mexicans do have roots and those are predomanitly native.Look at are foods they are mostly native ingredents, yes there is euro influence in it.But for the most part it is native that is the backbone. The most spanish thing abt us is the language. The word mexican comes from the word mexica which is nahualt language.mee-she- ka! 99% of r history happened before the savage spaniards came.

  • @chikawak I tell you, go and pass a week with a native that has never seen traffic lights and then pass a week with a fanatic religious family (which I guess is the closest you can get to the time of the conquista). We have nothing from the mexicas, just the name, we have more roots from the greeks and the italians, than from the natives. Our music is in T12, our religions are monotheist, family and societal structures are all european. Ethics and morals too. mexicas were nothing like christians

  • @NevinJarek You're right, we were nothing like Christians: we didn't murder millions of innocent people simply because they didn't believe in a super human, jesus. Native Americans in Mexico have retained their language, traditions, and believes. They speak Nahuatl and many other languages. They celebrate Dia de Los Muertos, weddings by "tieing the knot" of their tilmas (now you know where this expression came from), new years in Spring (instead of Winter when everything is dead).

  • @achcauhtliyaotl Now, I wasnt speaking of the part of mexicans that retained their traditions, language and their music. Im talking about the developing country, the most 'civilized' mexico, that can compare to europe in technology and science. The mexico that produces knowledge in physics, mechatronics, and chemistry has little roots on the indigenous folk people. We do listen music in systems born from the greeks and italians, like T12, diatonic functionality, etc, its european.

  • @achcauhtliyaotl An example of non european musical structures would be the pentatonism and the sense of 'dissonance', which in some cultures like the hindu, harmony is fixed and usually creates beats by clashing frequencies. Our system is clearly european, our scales, criteria for pleasant harmony, and melody (which in some cultures emulates voice, not in greek) are all derivative from the greeks, through italians and germans. And concernig the other stuff...

  • @achcauhtliyaotl I dont think 'mexicanity' can be measured by tacos and festivities. If you ask me, the fact that we live in a state with several political parties in a quasi-democracy, with public transportation and primary schools through universities, that we use toilets and socks, drawers and bicycles and cars, and we have newspapers and even the ethics and language morphology, they are all european. There are many differences between mexico and europe but the similarities are way immense.

  • @achcauhtliyaotl And when I say 'we' Im referring to the generic mexican population. I wasnt specifying which social class, artistic aesthetic, or religion I was, but if it matters, well, the majority of mexico is made of christian, mid-low spanish speaking mexicans, I suppose thats what Im refering when I say 'we' but all the rich atheists and rural tribes are also mexicans, being it a quite broad technicalness: being covered under its government, territory, and/or culture.

  • @NevinJarek Don't say "we" because you don't speak for our people or are you a member of a calpulli in Mexihco? We don't have roots in Greece or Italy. Is this music Greek or Italian? When have you eaten a taco in Greece or Italy? When have you found teocallis in Greece or Italy? When have you heard of Greeks or Italians using tobacco, coca, chocolate, axocopaque, epazote, among many more to cure themselves? We are Mexihca by birth and lineage.

  • man. there last album was better. they should have used more synths.

  • Escuchar esta canción a Youtube: öykü berk gürman evlerinin önü boyalı direk

  • native northamericans are very different to this cultures. Mexican civilizations extend their legacy beyond than the northamerican tribes. It is simple, you can't compare the sioux with the mayans, their social, economic and scientific level are to distant one each other. VIVA MEXICO!

  • fuck you asshole

  • LOL. Tell this dude.

  • relaxing?

I dont know about that new age stuff, but this has no relax value for me, but rather historical and musical value.
