The front of the engin looks like a bench. But I just used 230 on a conrail sd60 and a norfolk southern sd60 90 each and bought 2 digitrax decoders for 17.98 the only thing is im at my grand parents house all the way across the country from my house

yup 4 sum reason black track isnt good. silver track may cost a bit more $ but there is more kinds of silver track than black track. trust me black track only has 18in curves, 3in and 9in track, and only one type of switch. silver has a LOT more kinds and it works better!!!!

nice stuff! just a tip with the rails when your done with it try to mold them together. it will keep constint power around your layout so you dont have a problem with moving the track to find the right spot. nice loco! What are those black things on the front and back? are they a part of the loco?

as for the track, it was just down teporarily, but ill prob sauter a bus line around the layout when im finished the trackplan, the black things are part of the packaging, i was just too lazy to change out the black things and put in couplers:P
