if you ever see a gun shop then what you do is:

(i know it might sound crazy but)

buy the cheapest gun

FROM OUTSIDE THE SHOP

shoot the Shopkeeper

He'll see it coming... but he wont do a thing

here's a hint

if you find a shop with a jetpack and spectracles, buy the specs and steal the pack.

with luck, you can get the shopkeeper's shotgun at the next exit

then you won't have do deal with them anymore!!!!

I'll give you a hint -- You can EASILY rob shopkeepers with no repercussions with a teleporter. Just gauge the distance right, you'll teleport directly into the shopkeep, killing it. Best of all, there are no consequences whatsoever, nobody wants to kill you =D

I just ran across this.... Killed the dude. Took his stuff. Then next level killed the shop guy again, peacefully making my way out when out of nowhere the shopkeepers twin jumps 20 feet into the air and blows me away.

Wow, poor you...although i would've tried pushing the block from the left for a square or two to open up space, and then throw a bomb up so the shopkeeper's caged with an explosive .D

You also could have probably pushed that block on the left of the exit to move the shopkeeper out of there and bypass him completely.

That would have been tricky because the shopkeeper could have just jumped over the block and chucked/shot you and I don't care if this comment is two months old.

Holy wow! Never seen a shopkeeper-killing before, much less more than one. Do the shopkeeper-guards show up at all the exits after that? (The wanted poster suggests that they might.)

That was just another shopkeeper. After you kill or steal from or just piss off a shopkeeper, every other one in the game wants your head.

I've done a bit of shopkeeper-killing myself in the last month, and my experience shows otherwise - shopkeepers seem to show up at the exits (intermittently) even when there's no shop on the level. But yeah, especially if you get to the Black Market, things can get very unpleasant after you commit a crime.

If you kill them without setting foot in or harming their shop you will be wanted - shopkeepers will shoot you if you get to close, no exit guards

If you go inside their shop, blow a part of it up, or carry something out - wanted + guards

You can stop the guards from coming by killing another shopkeeper without going into their shop or harming it

Shopkeepers are easy to kill under certain circumstances, but it's a bad idea usually unless you're really good at killing pre-aggro'd shopkeepers.
