  • wow . and to think this bikes days are numbered already . Fastest transformation Ive ever seen from brand new to roached out .

  • Hard to believe my 87 was fresh out of the crate at one time lol, love it to death tho

  • extra tawp end set.... u caaan run the noots off it!! HAHAHAHA

  • do you think a transition from a cr 125 to a 250 2 stroke would be to big of a leap?

  • @5red63 depends on how good you are, 250 2ts is more explosive with power and have more low end power too, i ride a 250f and my buddies all ride 250 2 strokes, the 250f's are actually veryclose in power with the 250 2ts....but it shoudnt be too big of a leap, go for it

  • @5red63 yea ti is.

  • That's an 07. That was the last year that bike. Nice bike though. I'm looking at an 04 rm250 and it's tricked out but are they reliable?

  • nice bike my uncle has an 05 with amr racing graphics powdercoated gold rims and chain with newly rebuld engine so were ready to ride this summer

  • haha Used the new top end Yet?

  • I have the same bike but 125 ; ) it is amazing good choice

  • I thought they stopped the rm250s in 06? Just in the US?

  • @borgdan1234 Your right but they continued selling the 06 in 07 and 08 and some shops even sold them in up until last summer It might be hard to get a brand new one now

  • @jasonmccoll They stoped selling the RM 250 in 07...if you got one after that it was a left over 07...but they continued to sell them in Europe

  • @jasonmccoll australia still gets 2011's

  • @borgdan1234 2008 was the last year of the RM250.

  • hey how long douse the 2008 rm250 go on a tank of gas

  • @TheDobster666 Tims bikes jetting was way to fat and burned through a tank of gas in about one hour My bike with a leaner main jet will go about an hour and a half.It really depends on how much your bike stays upright, how high in the RPM you ride and what kinda riding your doing and the size of main jet you have in your carb

  • Ima buy one of these one day, nvr rode a day in my life but fuck it im gettin one lol nice bike dude !!

  • @xMellowDubx Thats what Tim did!He never rode before to and just went out and bought one Now he already a realy good rider

  • what comes in the top end kit?

  • @RM250D8rzr His bike came with a manual, two main jets, two needles, piston, rings,an assortment of gaskets, a clutch lever and a front brake lever

  • i give it a wweeek and it will need a complete rebuild

  • @YoungerPrice hi im just wondering why u think it would need a rebuild? because the way they ride it or are they supposed to be unreliable

  • @liammx8 no dont get me wrong i have a 89 rm250 i havent rebuilt the for 5 years the piston has about 50 hours on it.Its just that this guy jerry rigs everything.lloll

  • @liammx8 @YoungerPrice Haha Funny you say that!Considering my bike is eleven years old and has been ridden hard the past three years almost every day sometimes in -20 C weather and the thing still stays with new 450s and is running awesome! I think with a little help from me Tims bike should last just as long! Oh did I mention the RM 250s are pretty much bullet proof with barkbusters,a Gnarly pipe and a clean air filter!Hey thats my bike!

  • That's awesome, lol im sure tim's loving it. its a good sport to get into for sure! great workout too!

  • @yz125ryder Hes addicted for sure!

  • canadians ?? eehh lol

  • your next jay. you really deserve a new bike of your own!

  • @Dylans503 Always excepting donations LOL! : )

  • beautiful bike!

  • Oh damn thats a nice RM! Thats also my dream bike but i got an 01 RM 250.

  • I still can't beleive i got this bike! Thank you River City Cycle! • nice got to sove the sound of a 2t brag bing ding brawp

  • Wow! That bike is mint!!! I would love to get a hold of a new bike. My RM250 is year 2000 and my RM80 and DR350 are 1991!

Looking forward to seeing him ride :)

  • i want it!!!! or one similar.. lol

  • I thought you had bought a new bike Jason

  • @gregggiddens Maybe one day!But this one wasnt it

  • i prefer used bikes but man i wish i had a new one

  • @jdirtbiker1 Its a little wiser They depreciate 1500 dollars before you got them out of the shop! But hey if you got the money and want to spoil yourself then more power to you!

  • @jasonmccoll ya verry true but i when you cant aford a new bike and i no people who buy new bikes every year, but your way faster of a rider when you know your bikes every milimeter and take care of it

  • @jasonmccoll agreed man...but buying a used bike and putting money into it is more fun for me...it gives me a little more pride in my bike...but good luck with your bike man...shes beautiful

  • The second to last year, the 2009 was the last year for RM250. Nice new bike, I got a new bike too will be a shame to get it dirty!

  • @tobyeo you got a new one too?

  • @tobyeo Basically its a 2006 RM 250 Thats when they stopped changing them

  • @jasonmccoll No, they made porting changes in 07. More top-end. That was the last change.

  • @tobyeo they still make 2010's but not to the US

  • can't wait to see it rip!

  • What a teaser lol, only 2 clips of the new bike... Can't wait for more !

  • I love hearing you guys talk -- love the accent. Great video!

  • is it true that 2 stroke dirt bikes get damaged if ridden on road?

  • @Fender150fr I would say YES If they are ridden in higher gears at high speeds everything is spinning more then they are intended to Friction and heat will wear things down faster for example wheel bearings

  • @jasonmccoll but would it damage the engine itself? Piston Cylinder Etc

  • @Fender150 I wouldnt worry about it!Just ride, have fun then replace whats worn out

  • @Fender150fr no need to ride them on the road to begin with.

  • the only thing i hate about buying new bikes is that first scratch!!!

you pick it up all shiney and try not to get a scratch and then you hit that tree, with my new service honda it sucked balls!

  • Great video jay

  • haha im liken the first lay down of her sure she got some scratches now
