It's the tuning Skip James (and others used) called "cross note." It's usually in D minor: DADFAD (bass to treble). You're tuning down to an Em shape: open D with the G string down a full rather than half tone. Kind of a reverse DADGAD.
i just bought one like that one today for less than $10 bucks
