Yes, but unless it is a brittle tile roof, we always clean a roof by getting on it, unless the roof is too steep! Loose roofing granules can be a problem on shingle roofs, and metal roofs are always slick. You can learn all about roof cleaning if you google the roof cleaning institute forum.
