Yes, but unless it is a brittle tile roof, we always clean a roof by getting on it, unless the roof is too steep! Loose roofing granules can be a problem on shingle roofs, and metal roofs are always slick. You can learn all about roof cleaning if you google the roof cleaning institute forum. Roof Cleaning is best done getting on a roof.
The roof cleaning chemical can best be applied this way.
Some steep roofs can not be safely walked on.
These roofs we spray from the ground, or a ladder.
So, yes, we can clean a roof w/o walking on it.
