  • are these dogs pets?

  • these were trained by native americans a long time ago coul be natural for them after being trained for generation

  • smart northern breed, fishing without a pole, nice video

did he end up making it back to you with the fish in its mouth?

  • very cool, thanks

  • wah

  • It is cool, but they are just replecating their grandfathers, (wolves), they are avid fishers out here on the BC coastal rainforest,

  • It's possible I suppose...if these dogs have a lot of wolf blood in them, that is. I don't think you'd see a terrier, labrador from the city take to this so naturally. I believe it's learned behavior from their moms...

  • Not so much learned, as it is a natural behaviour, every dog on this planet came from wolves, its in them to fish, My American Staffordshire Terrier is an avid fisher, hasnt caught one yet! But tries for hours on end. Not down playing this video at all, but they are just following their natural instinct's to hunt, just like when i dog chases a ball, or a squirrel, or digs holes.

  • cooools

  • Peter, that's amazing! I've never seen a dog catch a fish. That's one clever pooch!
