what does taping their back do? Aslo when they are breathing in and out what exactly are you looking for?

1.Tapping the chest is known as percussion. Ironically, this is based on the way the beer barrels were percussed to check the level of beer left. Simmilarly, if there is fluid in the pleura one can diagnose this by means of tapping.

2. The second part, just by looking at somebody breathing, one can diagnose so any problems, for example, if there is irregular movement of the sides while breathing will give us an idea if there is pneumonia or fluid in the lungs.

Very good presentation in comfortable enviroment, but i wana ask why you did anterior and posterior chest examination separately .

I think he did it separately keeping in mind what is expected in the MRCP exam. Due to time constraint, it is best to do the I, P, P, and auscultation anterior first then follow the steps posteriorly. This may also cause less inconvenience to the patient by not going back and forth literally.
