Truth is that the controls suck.  It's all about mastering the crumby controls, after that you can actually tackle the game. If the graphics and music weren't good the game would not even be tollerable. Mastering the controls will be more than most will care to bare. Some have mentioned how fluid the controls are, I have not found that to be the case at all.
