@PFSBrazil Nar-nar. It means that one has to put the AA Towers towards the middle and back, with a small number at the front and the occasional Scatter beyond the main laser wall. Pods clump up the most at middle-back, where as said, the AoE will be most effective.

AA Towers are worthless against single targets, you want to take the most advantage of that slow, hard-hitting splash. Scatter Lasers are less than optimal against lots of tough targets because they just CAN'T focus their fire.

@PFSBrazil But against Spore Pods, they aren't. Scatter Lasers are best set up to the front of any anti-air arrangements where their random targeting ability means that they aren't bogged down during mixed air waves. Scatter laser excel against Gliders and maybe Dodgers, too, but don't quote me on that.

AA Towers are good against Spore Pods because of the AoE they do. In DPS terms, yes, Scatter is best, but an AA Turret's splash radius is, I think, full damage over the entire area.
