Forza Motorsport 3: Painting chrome rims (GLITCH)

I found that making the centerline rims a yellow then browsing the rims to find a good one works too. Theirs only like 5 or 6 rims that work with this. But I think the Rota J.SPL rims look the best. Hope this helps.

i found another glitch with the v8 supercars in forza 3 where you can remove all the v8 supercars decals and paint the vehicle whatever color you want.

#1 purchase one of the v8 supercars in forza 3, holden commodore or ford falcon.

# after purchasing the v8 supercar of your choice, go to paint, and change the color of the vehicle to whatever color you want without the decals, it works.

If you look at the end of the vid I do green, you cant see it well but it shows it works - too many people saying 'they didnt change' Thanks for not being one of those.

@Importfreak305 you can with a capture card but they cost allot. This was filmed on my old webcam, placed in front of the tv. This only works with LCD or Plasma screens otherwise you end up with refresh flicker.

I'm pretty sure the wheels you chose are the only one in the game that will allow you to leave the lip "chrome". It's actually a silver wheel with a polished aluminum lip, just so you know. The lip won't change, but the rest of the wheel will because it's painted silver

I'm sorry, I was wrong about the original color of those wheels. They're actually already dark, aside from the lip. Looks like a gunmetal gray color, or black.

They are dark, but not black. If you skip near the end you should be able to make the green version out. You can do it on most rims.

No, the whole rim is chrome unless you do this glitch. You cant make normal rims lips chrome either :(

if you buy a set of "advan RGII" wheels and paint them your desired colour. Then go back to the wheel shop and choose either "Rota J.SPL" or "Tenzo RS-5" the centres will be your chosen colour with a chrome lip. It is a glitch so it only works with these two wheel choices.
