What is your drawlength mate? I was keen to buy one of these today, but shop assistant (Sydney) concerned about possible stacking and/or breakage due my drawlength @ 29.5in put me off. Your thoughts?
my drawlength for my compounds is the same 29.5inches. usually with recurves, you tend to short draw them, or at least i do because with higher poundages, it really stacks up quick. at a guess, i probably draw 28-28.5 inches with recurves. everyone is different and i have let heaps of people shoot my bows without any worry of breakages. i dont even worry about how far they draw. you will be supprised how far it can get pulled back. they are a strong bow.
@brutale004 The Mind is a traditional Korean bow. Its designed for Korean style archery which involves a very long draw out past the ear, often out to 33" even for shorter people so you shouldn't have any problem with breakage. It will stack a little, but the geometry of eastern style horse bows makes for surprisingly little stack.
this happens to be my wifes bow. i still wouldnt like to get hit with it!! fyi i usually shoot compound bows at about 60 pounds. also, some of the top shooters that compete at vegas etc drop their poundage down so they can get consistancy. no good shooting high poundage if you cant hit anything.
the skb is a different bow. this one is the mind 50 with carbon limbs. the skb has fiberglass limbs and is a little cheaper. i got mine from abbey archery in brisbane australia.
