Is there a shorter video which I can share with friends? Although I fully support this effort, I disagree with the sexual reference at the beginning of the video (What is pink, wet and needs a hand...). This is in poor taste considering the subject matter. Thanks.
Thanks for the suggestions, Burwoodin. The activists in the video have been working hard to get the issue in the news. Problem is, the media usually need something to 'happen' before they will consider something newsworthy - they won't just keep writing about these dolphins being in danger. They need to see one die, for the military to fire at them, for the groups to hold a protest against the government's inaction, etc. etc.Awareness is growing. But international pressure is also badly needed.
well...typical taiwanese bureaucracy. i reckon the most efficient way to voice out for these beautiful albino would be bringing the issue hitting on the local headlines and forming a considerable stream of public opinion, thereby posing a pressure on the government to conform to.
