idk what the tvr got but the FXX got 1:10.7. the caparo T1 (street legal) did the track in 1:10.6, id still prefer the FXX though

They made 4 racing versions and they also intended to release a road version but the company's owner apparently drove a 980bhp one home one day and decided it was completely unusable on the road so he scrapped the project.

TVR did actually sell 1 road legal version in 2003 which they made specially for a buyer. You will see it on here if you search for london cerbera speed 12. I believe it was filmed while it was in london for a gran turismo 4 promo event

This car is completely different from the enzo in pretty much every aspect, accept they do share the same styling cues. Different engine, modified chassis, Different suspension, different brakes, different interior. different transmission. It's not an enzo.

This is a structualy based and modified Ferrari Enzo. They have reduced the weight, made some adjusments to the exhaust and fucked around with an engine. As far as its a completely diff engine, i wouldnt say so..but a modified version yes....this car would take any racing..lemans....lambo..porsh­e.bugatti on the track, except for formula 1..

I got to see an FXX like 5 or 6 times on different tracks. I was in the STCC circuis and followed the series around with a raceteam and at the same weekends a Ferrari cometition class was there. Their trademark was a Ferrari FXX that was driving around the track as a preview car. It is so fast AND LOUUUDD!! It is like it doesn´t have mufflers :P So for now on, the FXX is my dreamcar

the enzo is the 660hp 03' super car

the FXX is the new 880hp super car.

as sos1955 said that was ferrari working on the launch program. if you knew about ferrari you'd know that all ferrari's since the sencond gen 360 (i belive) have come with autolaunch. It works by setting the auto launch on the steering wheel, reving the engine to 5000 rpm, and then releasing the clucth.

I don't think that was actually a "burn out." I'm pretty sure they were testing the launch control technologies theyre developing using the FXX. It looked way more like a computer controlled launch than a "sit there and smoke'em" burn out.
