@faen5863 Tool is ok. They're just kind of seen as very mainstream when it comes to everything within the genre. They still wrote some good songs.

Kind of like if you like Tool there is stuff more extreme to listen to. Stuff Tool only touches on. People who hate on them are just rejecting their mainstream qualities. I don't listen to them anymore but I did and they led me to things I like more.

Ignore people who hate just to hate, they're shallow and bitter.

@Scuddi I forgot to add. The album cover is a modification of the painting Watson and the Shark for anyone who was curious. John Singleton Copley. It's actually based on a real event supposedly. He used it more metaphorically though. Go see one of them (there are multiple copies) at the MFA in Boston. It's impressive in person.

@Staindfan209 I guess they are pretty big. I found out about them from Sirius Radio a few years ago with this song on the station "Hard Attack" which plays hard rock. Notice, a few years later i still took the initiative to remember this song. And if i did, there probably is a lot more fans. =].
