I like to shoot so I have to agree with you on the Ruger LCP - it's just not fun to shoot and the ammo is expensive. And while the .40 and .45 are fun to shoot still the ammo isn't cheap. The 9 mm is the way to go in my opinion - it's the cheapest centerfire ammo and fun to shoot out of a Glock 19.
I like the .40S&W. I like the water tank too? I live in the city and need a trap for catching slugs for function testing. Do you have any plans for building a bullet trap?

My former department did a lot of experimentation with different bullets to decide what to issue. We noticed a quantum leap between the 9mm and the 9mm+P+.

Smith 317 is nice (though pricey). Yeah the 380 is weak, but so is a .22. I don't even notice carrying the LCP, all day long, and I'm pretty damn skinny. For me other options don't result in consistent carry.
Ask Rick Perry how he likes his LCP...better yet, check up on that coyote he turned into mulch!
@rseveran Perry's coyote encounter is a great snipit to what a .380 can do, inspite of all the dissing of it. As I understand it, a coyote came out of the brush while he was on a jog with his little dog. It tried to attack his dog and he laid it out stone cold dead with an LCP. I never did hear if he had to pump multiple rounds in to it though.

To the .380 haters. While your .45 is in the car or at home, my .380 is ALWAYS in my pocket. Shot placement is everything, even a .22 is lethal if it hits you in the right place.

@Meoff01 Carrying concealed isn't limited to .380, people carry 9's, 40's, 45's everyday using IWB holsters. Also keeping a pistol in your pocket is a bad idea anyway, hard to fumble that little thing out, especially if you're sitting.
@tacticaltrigger do your thing, I'll keep my little .380 in my pocket, if you are sitting then ANY gun is gonna be hard to pull out. I carried a p95 on my hip for over a year, and I am supremely confident that i can engage a target much faster with my the kel tec.

Smith 317 is nice (though pricey). Yeah the 380 is weak, but so is a .22. I don't even notice carrying the LCP, all day long, and I'm pretty damn skinny. For me other options don't result in consistent carry.
Ask Rick Perry how he likes his LCP...better yet, check up on that coyote he turned into mulch!

@rseveran Perry's coyote encounter is a great snipit to what a .380 can do, inspite of all the dissing of it. As I understand it, a coyote came out of the brush while he was on a jog with his little dog. It tried to attack his dog and he laid it out stone cold dead with an LCP. I never did hear if he had to pump multiple rounds in to it though.

To the .380 haters. While your .45 is in the car or at home, my .380 is ALWAYS in my pocket. Shot placement is everything, even a .22 is lethal if it hits you in the right place.

@IraqiSniper107 Millions have been shot with 380 to death. Makarov was a service gun for everyone in Soviet Union. I would bet that more people have been killed with 380 cal than with all others put together.

@IraqiSniper107 Blah blah! I think it is plain common sense that a 380 will kill you. nobody here has disagreed with that. Most of us just think they suck Thats all. The best gun is with out a dought the one you can have on you at all times. My summer edc is my 317 smith 22lr. I feel much more confident with it than the lcp.

@MikeReiner This is a common occurence, but their telling others to carry their firearm and when you ask them what their carrying they pull out a .380 a .38 or similiar caliber firearm. LOL! To each his own.

@Meoff01 Carrying concealed isn't limited to .380, people carry 9's, 40's, 45's everyday using IWB holsters. Also keeping a pistol in your pocket is a bad idea anyway, hard to fumble that little thing out, especially if you're sitting.

@tacticaltrigger do your thing, I'll keep my little .380 in my pocket, if you are sitting then ANY gun is gonna be hard to pull out. I carried a p95 on my hip for over a year, and I am supremely confident that i can engage a target much faster with my the kel tec.
