I feel as if I've been lied to. Thanks for tilting the camera to make it look like the skyscraper got partially blown over. It peaked my interest in watching a doctored video clip, and even got me to spend thirty seconds writing a comment in response to it!
Wilma was really bad dont get me wrong, It was a category 3, but compared to a category 5 with close to 200mph gust in Homestead or Florida City, I just couldnt imagine Wilma being worse then Andrew even in Wilmas hardest hit areas. Andrew had 30 Billion in damages in less than 30 mile wide swath while wilma had about 15 billion in a 75 mile wide area. It still was extremely bad for South Florida, and very widespread damage for a cat 3.
In North Dade and Downtown Miami yeah it was, but not even close to Andrew in South Dade County. I dont know if you were in South Miami during Andrew, i wasnt but from everything Ive seen there seems to be no comparison to the destruction Andrew did, even compared to the worst of Wilma. I mean, I dont mean to sound crass but the fact that 75,000 homes werent even left standing after Andrew is alot different. Any hurricane with 165mph sustained winds isnt going to be equal to 115mph hurricane.
omg it looks like a apoctaliyptic city
