Big Pitt Panther fan back then because of Hugh Green and Dan, I hate the Steelers and can't believe they passed him up on for a D-lineman that only played one year for them Chuck Knoll was an asswipe for not taking him. Dan Rooney said his dad wanted them to draft him but coach Knoll wanted defence. Dan said his Dad on his death bed said to him you should have drafted Marino. If they did i believe the Steelers would have won at least 10 SB's by now.

Dan Marino without a doubt was and still is the best COLLEGE and PRO quarterback that ever played football.The 1982,83,84 Pitt team could play on saturday eat, sleep then beat a pro team on sunday if they wanted to. I don't give a rat's ass if he does'nt have a super bowl ring. .I've even heard they applied a radar gun to some of his passes to john brown his tight end at pitt going 73 MPH!!!
