  • --not a blooper!

  • That doesn't look like a blooper to me...

  • a blooper. but loved it anyway as long as its house.

  • this conversation is officially over because I've ran out of clever things to call the guy... :)

  • Definitely a blooper. Love it :D

  • When I watched the episode for the first time I rewinded this part like 4 times because of it's epicness

  • Hmmm, I'm not sure if it's a blooper or not. It's tough to say.

    Whichever it is, still hilarious!

  • well, it's funny, so it doesnt really matter if it was on purpose or not... does it? love house :D

  • i dnt think its a blooper, i think he is supposed to look like he is in pain, he is walking around without his cane after all.

  • @downwithBEEandDREE14 the blooper is him starting to laugh at the end of his words. And just by the way he does it im sure it wasnt scripted like that but it was small and clever enough for them to ignore.

  • Look its House Jersey Shore edition! They're all so orange :(

  • i LOOOVE house.

  • even when he isn't saying his lines, he has american accent on!

  • @EccentricCharlotte It's a lot easier to keep it on for a whole shoot day than it is to switch.

  • i thought that was a blooper ha

  • i'm pretty sure that was just in the script... i would laugh at myself too if i said that in real life... it's a great line!

  • I have a house remix

  • It's definitely a blopper, but it's funny they decided to keep it XD

  • Those who know House the character know that you would never see him laugh that wholeheartedly. That was all Hugh Laurie. It was definitely a break in character, but it worked so I assume that's why they left it in there. I like it.

  • @JMGOODELL

Actually he does laugh like that sometimes. Such as when he makes the "clams have the largest penis of any animal" joke at the end of All In. Also when he's in the MRI machine and Wilson pretends to be God.

  • I wouldn't laugh if I were Dr. House.

  • I guess it's the comedian in him coming to the surface! House is a great show, but the bad thing about it is that Hugh is taken away from what he does best - comedy! There are funny moments in House, but I'd like to see him play a good old completely silly British twit!

  • @dovlinhos Blackadder ;)

  • He doesn't say fat man at the end...lol listen close at :34

  • I totally caught this.

  • house is the new chuck norris. the guys so cool he never smiles.

  • watch house episodes a little closely and you will find scenes where jennifer and jesse almost crack up esp when hugh is speaking. omar is so cool the cams can't catch him.

  • This isn't a blooper. It was House the character laughing, not Hugh's screw-up. And even if it was an unintentional laugh, they left in the episode, so clearly it wasn't enough of a blooper.

  • 96 double z's omg

  • i really think that its part of the character...

  • @whitewzl if it was part of the character then he wouldnt have started smiling. house never smiles

  • Doesn't fit the character. Wasn't acted.

  • @maagiapall second

  • i think he was acting that laugh, House is allowed to have a sense of humour some times y'know

  • It works, but only when you don't focus on it.

I have to say, I thought it was a little wierd when I saw it at first though. It probably would have been better if they'd gone with a smoother take.

  • well it didnt really seem like a laugh more like only a smile. but it was still good

  • no u can see him do it before he's just gasping in pain.

  • I dont think that was a blooper.. House laughed cuz he was making fun of someone. That's definatly house like.

  • That's not a laugh, it's a wince.

  • @MindlessKai Its a laugh. You're a retard.

  • @MindlessKai yep ur right it's not a laugh

  • It probably started as a blooper then the peeps thought it'd be a good thing to put in. Hahh... a million people already said that probably, but i make it a million and one! :}

  • Yeah...not a blooper. Though it is funny, cause you rarely see House actually, sincerely laugh on the show.

  • @brighttomorrows agreed:)

  • lol I love this bit I always thought it was a blooper coz it's totally un-house, so funny :)

  • That's not a blooper.... It's called acting.

  • Haha i love the "this conversation is officialy over because i have run out of funny things to call that guy"

    best bit

  • That's actually not a blooper. That's how the line's supposed to go. XD

  • @Drumlord009 i guess thats how the lines supposed to go but you hear hugh holding his laugh in, and fails as he walks away. it's totally out of character!

  • poor guy... you dont have a house because u spent all your money for a tv set and a camera ?...:P

  • I DO OWN HOUSE!

  • I'm glad they left it in, but that was definitely Hugh, not House. Cute moment.

  • he was supposted to laugh, it was to make it funnier

  • i dont't think that his laugh is a blooper.. it's just ironic as always... <3<3<3

  • definitely hugh laurie laugh thus blooper!

  • That didn't seem like a usual "House" laugh to me - rather a Hugh Laurie laugh. So it might be that he wasn't meant to be laughing, but since he did, they figured they might as well just leave it in.

  • that wasn't a blooper. it was in the scene. part of his act. he laughed because the line was meant to be funny.

  • great catch! :] haha. now i'll pay more attention to those things as well.

  • Season n EPisode please. Thanks

  • @mlnmrttm somewhere in season 3

  • @mlnmrttm

The episode is Que Sera Sera.

  • It's a blooper because House never laughs

  • @jeloubel He laughs when he mocks someone, he laughs when hanging with Wilson...House does laugh occasionally. He's not totally void of emotion.

  • Nice!

  • he looks at the camera too. definitely a blooper. nice catch

  • I'd say this is a blooper, because it's really not like House to laugh at his own jokes.

  • you know it's really not a blooper right? that it's actually in the show? just making sure :)

  • Comment removed

  • I noticed that aswell when I watched the episode :p

  • i think he meant to laugh

  • I actually think that too...

  • @Hamsterz4life Agreed.

  • I think some of the fat jokes were improvised, Omar Epps looks like he's about to laugh at some points.

  • i saw that two but i think house was suppose to laugh there :)

  • ive seen this before (the hippo has lung cancer, if i recall :). anyway, i saw the smurk, and i didnt consider it a blooper

  • Cool Clip

  • That's called acting, It's part of the scene/Character. Look up a script for that episode.. =\

  • i love it when hugh makes bloopers :P couse he never really laughs as house so when he messes up you see the real him :P witch is awe-some

  • oh yes...that laugh was bloopy !!!

  • ur description says " I DO NOT OWN HOUSE"... are you homeless?? =S ......O_o....

  • @Dubaifreak lol funny

  • haha a condo perhaps? lol

  • Not only that, but he has horrendous grammar!

  • Dubaifreak: You are a fucking GOD. 46 thumbs up in three weeks? Holy fuck.

  • =P .... i was just trying to fit the comedic situation...nothing else.. lol

  • @Dubaifreak You are awesome

  • @Dubaifreak That was not funny. -.-'

  • @V4mPiRezZZ well.... apparently 192 people found it funny.. =P im jus sayin....

  • @Dubaifreak ok :) glad you didn't start swearing at me like everybody else would.... :)

  • @V4mPiRezZZ =)....but if u had sworn..lol..that'd be different scenerio then...hehe jk

  • @Dubaifreak maybe he has one for rent

  • @Dubaifreak He means the show bruv :)

  • @Dubaifreak lmao

  • @Dubaifreak

funny comment, I've never seen so many thumbs up!

    :)

  • @Dubaifreak Well the lack of grammar skills would probably not have helped in landing a job with sufficient pay to allow him to afford his own home, though this is merely conjecture.

  • @Dubaifreak ROFL

  • @Dubaifreak HAHAHAHAHAHAH!

  • @Dubaifreak he could be renting

  • doesn't make you less of a double poster

  • HOUSE DEFINITELY ROCKS!!!

  • hahahahahahahahahaha

  • The smile was the same smile Hugh wears in the bloopers when he knows he's messed up but he tries to keep it going anyway. They cut out of the scene it so fast probably because the other actors started laughing. ^.^ House rocks.

  • @Jackiesparrow22 hahaha yeah

  • Comment removed

  • @Jackiesparrow22 I doubt it. Hugh is very much a perfectionist in all he does, & would want to retake if he felt for a second that his real persona had peeped through. Every facial expression & vocal intonation you see is exactly what he intended. Everything else is for the outtakes. Nothing would would make him more anxious than to feel he'd let down his colleagues. He has old school English humility in that respect.

  • @Jackiesparrow22 If you watch House, then Hugh in interview, they couldn't be further apart. Hugh not only changes his accent, his walk, his speech pattern, his body language, & facial expressions, but even lowers the pitch of his natural speaking voice for House. It's highly unlikely he would allow himself to grin or laugh unintentionally & have it printed.

  • oookkk i am a little confused but...i believe all of you ;) kiss

  • nah I don't think it's a blooper, it's just that Hugh is that good

  • I don't think it was scripted- it doesn't have House's sarcastic edge. I think Hugh laughed but they kept it in because it's not very noticeable. And yes, it is believable that House would be amused at his own rudeness, even if the laugh itself was a little out of character.

  • It's a partial blooper.

I agree it was Hugh's laugh, not Greg's - and there is a difference! - but clearly was kept in because 1, it's barely noticeable and 2, it fits the scene anyway.

  • @SchoolgirlCrush121

But it IS neat that they kept a blooper in the original cut.

  • name fail + camRIP fail.. you do it wrong bro

  • which episode is this

  • Que Sera Sera, from season 3.

  • It's more of a Laurie laugh than a House laugh, but probably kept there as it fits the scene

  • Yes, you're right. I think so, too.

  • yeah, it was definitely unintentional. house wouldnt laugh like that, but hugh laurie would.

  • Has to be a blooper. Very funny ad lib that he pulls off pretty well, added to the episode because it was better than whatever they had planned. Watch the other blooper reels and he has similar ways of ending the screwed up scene. Plus, you can't deny the smile on his face is genuine. So great they put this in there!

  • Unintentional, but works; just like in Full Metal Jacket and Tropic Thunder.

  • i feel that it was intentional ... but who knows?

  • he's ment to do that its house XD

  • not a blooper!

  • Fits better as an intentional laugh. Since House always thinks he's brilliant. Especially when it comes to jokes and euphemisms.

  • At first I thought it was unintentional but after thinking for a moment I believe it to be intentional and even if it was a blooper, they would have cut it because it's way too obvious.

  • unintentional!!

  • sounds unintentional

  • deff a blooper

  • i think the team just decided to keep an unintentional laugh because they liked it. they could probably have chosen a different take had they wanted to

  • @gperr050 yeah, i think it works:) i noticed that wen i initially saw it but i thought it was cool:) u rarely see house the character smile/laugh like that....its nice:) does neone no where i could find a free vid of house season 6 episode 20 baggage?? I really wanna see it but the site ive watched all of season six on has had their episode 20 taken down and i dont wanna have to wait till i get the dvds:( ps. i am not living in america so i cant watch it on america only sites:(

  • Yeah, that was totally intentional.

  • im pretty sure the laugh was intentional

  • it's not a blooper; it's an adlib; they cut bloopers, remember? ;-)

  • By the way that he laughed you can know that it wasn't intentional.

  • i think it is a blooper

house never laghs like that :S

  • it's not a blopper

  • lol i noticed, it's funny but isnt too bad.

  • It could have been the best take he could give.

  • Pretty sure it was intentional...

  • I think he is supposed to laugh..

  • foxerilo....so combative...so many other people stated they didn't think it was a blooper and did so in a very adult, nice way....why do you have to call someone a jackass and be so mean? Save the insults for someone who really deserves it...YIKES!

  • i dont think its a blooper, but i DO think it makes him adorable.

  • it wasnt a blooper. dats how its supposed to be. im 100% sure. if u have d special dvd box set nd u watch bloopers ull c dem retaking this shot so tat these lines are perfect. u dnt perfect a blooper

  • I must agree. it's noticeable. His voice is different near the end. It's a genuine laugh, and not a usual House sarcastic sneer. House wouldn't have found it that funny. It's definitely improv here. I love it. Which episode is this?

  • Maybe House laughed because he ran out of insults... or hugh made house laugh...

  • It's a blooper, but not a blooper. It's not a blooper like cracking up in the middle of a scene, so they didn't bother cutting it out. He's a little out of character, but every shot costs them, and it's not that noticable.

Well, that's my opinion anyway. Might be wrong.

  • i don't think that was a blooper, ain't house's character at all!

  • It's part of the episode, I've seen it and remember it clearly. But I don't think it was scripted. I think Hugh is improvising and genuinely laughing at the end. They just left it in.

  • I think it could be a blooper. That's so not house

  • Looks like a blooper except they don't normally put bloopers in the show, because then it wouldn't be a blooper.

  • What blooper?? I see no blooper...

  • No, it wasn't a blooper, it was a sarcastic good ol' House :)

  • yeah i don't think that was a blooper

i've seen this ep like a million x cause they always rerun it and i'm pretty sure that was purposely put or left in there

  • haha 96 double z's

whatever you wanna call it this scene was hilarious

  • I believe the reason he sniggered there was because he had taken anti-depressants, his patient also saw him smile later in the episode.

  • ...and he was pleased with the unexpected situation of running out of things to call the guy.

  • That's how it is in the episode but was it scripted or was it a Hugh thing/blooper/call it what you will that they decided to leave in?

Hugh has said that he has occasionally improvised during a take, maybe this was one occasion.

  • i think the character was just laughing at his own jokes. He was supposed to do that.

  • Not a blooper, it's part of the episode. You think that they'd leave it in if they really didn't it?

  • Blooper or not, it's funny. X)

  • finally call a fatty a fatty so refreshing in american tv

  • It's not a blooper! That's like this in the episode... -_-

  • September 21st

  • yeah for sure a funny take,,,,not a blooper....thats how it is in the episode.....damn when is season 6 going to finally arrive.....

  • september 21st!!

  • I don't think this was a blooper. I noticed it in the episode, and don't you think that House would be impressed that he got "Jabba", "hippopotamus" and "Samu" in the same 30 second conversation?

  • i think it WAS a blooper.. they just decided to leave it

  • I don't think this is a blooper - it's just House being impressed with himself for all the fat man references he got in!!

  • It does look like a blooper to me...

....now let's see how many thumbs down I get for daring to suggest that Hugh Laurie is human.

  • Comment fine. No thumbs down :)

  • Clearly that wasn't a blooper!

  • hehe so cute

  • His smile is so cute! :P

  • I don't think it's necessarily a blooper, I think it's Hugh Laurie slihgtly breaking character and they thought it was a funny take so they used it.

  • My thoughts exactly.
