Think, each human kills at least two zombies here, so anyone who dies will only add one. So, 100 zombies vs 50 humans, by the time 50 humans are killed all 100 zombies are dead. the humans reanimate as 50 more zombies and their numbers have been halved. In the war, it wouldn't be like Max Broks [redicted, i think we'd do very well.
