    there is no magic... use a VDM stencil and paint through...

    you can find the file in the mudbox community... its a tab in mud...

    search there for ear...

  • It's a vector displacement, so instead of storing one floating point value that determines the offset along the normal of the surface it stores 3 values determining the offset in the base axies (XYZ).
