Basically it's an anime version of Dragon's Lair/Space Ace. Used to be availible for the sega CD and the PS1 in japan back inthe day a long with Road Avenger.
Oh man BD13, that was even more like Dragon's lair because the animation was much closer in style. (I played the heck out of it on my brother's atari Jaguar) How ever unlike Timegal there was never an arcade version of BD13.
Yeah: Even though "Brain Dead 13" was made for at least 7 different platforms back in the 1990's (including MAC & PC), it was never made for the arcade.
Interesting. I had no idea this was released on PS1. Looks like the video is much better than the Sega CD one which would've been hampered by the 64 colour barrier.
Well basically because there is no master list of PS1. I didn't know either, but i'm going to search for it .I dont know if they found out just how many games they made for the system worldwide
Althought I've only heard of this game recently, I had the same impression to over this character (the US Sega CD version also has a pretty lame, typical dub voice too).
You can buy the Sega Saturn version or Playstation Double Pack Version at Playasia preowned. But the Playstation Version is out of stock so request it buy creating account and clicking on the game and send in a request that way.
ain't she the sexy gal.

I still have the Mega CD version of this.
Reika has got to be one of THE cutest game gals ever *^^*
She recently re-appeared as a selectable character in a japanese SHMUP too.
I hope Taito bring her back properly for another game though.

True that: and don't forget 'Brain Dead 13,' which also used the same gameplay formula as the other titles you listed!

This game interested me a little bit, frankly. People all seem to hate it, but at least it's a little interesting. Fanservice = win, by the way.

Reika DOES remind me a lot like Yuri of DP. I'll have to look at the credits for character designer. Nevertheless, nice game.
