Hey everybody. I used to be seriously scared and had nightmares as a child from those fembots from the tv shows. Balok was the worst. Years later in the early 90s, after seeing the Undertaker it sure really strengthens me alot more and with cartoon character of the Annihilator, I've overcame my worst fears from the fembots completely and Balok too. fembots, I KILL you all in hell!!! (bong!)

Me too! Well, not the toys, but the show! When I was a kid, I was convinced that my family were transformed into robots and were out to get me b/c of Fembots. Then when the doll came out, I wanted one. I even saved up my own money to get it, but my mom said no, b/c she had had enough bad dreams and talk about Fembots. I thought she'd be happy I got over my fear, but NO!

The dream was that my mother and father had been "replaced" by duplicate robots. We would get in some argument and their faces would fall off revealing the computer chips and those scary eyeballs. Seems silly now...but at the time I was afraid !

Thanks for posting. I have not seen this commercial since it first aired when I was 5. I had the doll and it was awesome and fun. I also sold one recently on ebay for $300.oo too. The Fembot rocks!!

I used to be so scared of fembots when I was a kid. I got cured in the later years and also watching JLA(Justic League of America) and saw the Annihilator and that made me feel so much better. I ain't afraid of fembots' open faces anymore! I can watch them in the dark and not be afraid.

Never saw this commercial, its hysterical!!! i bought that Fembot doll at a garage sale in it the box for $5 when i was a kid!! She used to take on my large size Chewbacca figure- he was supposed to be Bigfoot!

One Christmas Eve I remember how I crept out into the darkened living room to see if Santa had come yet.The newly arrived shapes under the tree seemed to shift and change in the dim flickering of the 1970's christmas lights. I strained my 7 year old eyes to see and there, in the branches before me, was nestled the Fembot Doll I had pined for for months. My heart pounded with joy and excitement. I could hardly contain my self as I rushed back to bed. She was the coolest doll in all of existence!

My 7-year-old niece loves my old Bionic Woman doll and plays with her often. The Fembot scares her a bit, but sometimes I get her to re-create the famous fight scene from the show. JimEmmons17, thanks for posting this commercial I had not seen in 30 years.
