what do you recommend for a beginner. I just got this camera and I am not sure where to start ^^

@Caram3lLov33 I actually don't own this camera, it's my friend's. All I would suggest is getting a good sized sd card to store the hd video, and possibly some nice lenses with low f/stops for good depth of field.

This was very cool. So you just held the lens in front of the camera?

@ForeignPolicySB yeah pretty much. it was detached and held a little in front of the body. that's why it has a really shallow depth of field.
