  • same as (theScarisbrick) I am going 2 C them in august.

  • Why are people comparing totally different things saying thats how its done, and this is the best? You can't compare marine corps of drums to a pipe band for example! They are all amazing... in there own way!

  • What music are they playing guys? Do you guys know?

  • the greatest, thats how its done

  • Sorry to say, but this was'nt any good compared to His Majesty the King's Guard of Norway's Music and Drill Platoon,,,

  • @Tuba1st Norway has an army?

  • @GymmFFreak89

A bloody good one at that. Imagine Vikings with modern weapons and training.

  • @mikeburrell yeah thats like saying Italian army are Roman legionaires with modern weapons, when fact has it they backhand the taliban with money in order for them not to be attacked .... Time and history is a strange thing.. Dont compare the two

  • they show how its done? the best? are you kidding me?!

nothing beats the pipes & drums & the sound of Scotland.

  • @beverage2008 Gotta agree there. I'm English, but the Band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland for me pretty much defines the British, and ye olde Empire. Dunno why. They're awesome to see now, for one, but I think it has something to do with watching Waterloo when I was a kid and seeing the pipes coming over the hill shitting up the French. Epic. Can't picture a British army of Red Coats without seeing those guys with them.

  • Nah, sorry, can't understand why the think they have to perform like that. They never used to do it. They aren't an American marching band.

  • served with the british in the middle east they are first class soldiers and men, proud to have served alongside them! respect from USA

  • Friggin fantastic, love the RM!!!

  • so in britain we have the Red Arrows (renowned the world over as the greatest military aerobatics team) the SAS (without doubt the best special forces unit) and Her Majesty's band of the Royal Marines (the GREATEST marching band in history) kinda makes you proud to be british

  • I'm American and I like my country's Marine Band (The President's Own) more, but this is impressive.

  • @SamHagagaga There's more videos than this haha ;)

  • Stunning!!! My Dad was a Royal Marine, so they are always my favourite.

  • The Best!

  • What can br said about the Royal Marines Drumline SIMPLY AWESOME

  • Simply. Beautiful.

  • wow,,,to quote an old song......your simply the best,,,,you better than all the rest

  • wow im really surprised there isn't an american on here saying how crap this is and how there so much better! Rule Britannia...

  • Absolutely fantastic display by the Marines God Bless Them All bring on the Queen' s Diamond Jubilee Celebrations.

  • makes me proud to be the bro of a marine :)

  • best guys ever makes me proud to be british. They certainly can entertain!!

  • If you want it done properly, send for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines. If you don't believe me, wath this again!!

  • The best regiment in the world.

  • Let's make it a tiny bit more complicated...

    Awesome, guys!

  • top class

  • Incredible.

  • Look like toy soldiers..Precision stuff. BRILLIANT

  • Cracking

  • Absolutely Fantastic thank you for sharing

  • Beautiful bit of Shenandoah.

  • 00:50 best part =D

  • Well done Lads.

  • this is super cool!!

  • The beginning is unreal! ITS AMAZING!!!

  • WHAT CAN YOU SAY THE BEST

  • F---ING SHIT HOT

  • Best musical body in the world. Incredible.

And that is one long wave at 0:50!

I also liked the Dutch band on the bikes at the Tattoo, very entertaining!

  • Excellent stuff!!

  • as good as it gets

  • The static is called Din Eidyn (:

  • Tinny.......Oh! And watch out for the standard of drill and dressing during Trooping the Colour!

  • The marines bands are very good but I have always thought the overall sound was tinny due to the use of the silver plate instruments. If you want a stunning sound you can't go wrong with the massed bands of the household division. Just look up Les Hugenouts during trooping the colour. It's played every year and the sound will blow you away.

  • @foresthoop obviously your not a musician,

  • @foresthoop Far and away the RM's trump the Army bands. Les Hughs sounds impressive because they just lean on the entire trombone section, the Royals could make it sound equally as loud but that just borders un musical.

  • @foresthoop the plating on the instruments doesn't make any difference to the tone of the instrument. I am ex Regimental Band 2nd Royal Tank Regiment

  • Best military band in the world. My daughter started her training with them yesterday - so proud of her carrying on the family tradition (Mum, ex-Wren; Dad, former Royal Marine!).

  • just gets better every year!

  • class1

  • By far the best band!!!!

  • Whats the name of the song after the drum statics?

  • @danthecornetman

The piece is called SEAFARERS! by Michael McDermott

  • @danthecornetman the song immediately after the static is called 'Haul Away Joe'

  • @GlennLane1 don't listen to him, stick with the Royal Marines ;)

  • BZ Lads. The best of Britsh.

  • BEST in the world, by far.

  • Glad I didn't have to learn all that stick drill in my day or I would of had a ' Homer Simpson moment'.

  • @GlennLane1 To see some better 'stick work' search youtube for "Top Secret Drum Corps Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2009"

  • They were the best band of the whole night!!

Did you get the Hancock Theme? It was the 1st thing they played

  • the static is called Din Eidyn

  • Great stuff thanks for posting this.
