  • i'm not a guitar teacher but as a student the only way this song is easy to play and fast is when my nails on my right hand are longer.it makes finger plucking much easier and gives me more control.she is very good though

  • Well played!

I believe Brouwer wrote the right hand patterns to be pamiamipamip and pamipami (for the time change) respectively rather than pamiamipampp and pamipamp.

  • I like this very much when played slowly, beautiful. And thanks..

  • to slow.

  • wow you guys are somethin no mtter how good anyone on youtube does and this happens to me with people i know when i write music, you all just got to find the smallest mistake to bring up for no reason.its kinda hard to show "emotion" when she's concentrating so hard to make it sound good for you people. i could record an epic song and then show it to someone and what do they do? they wait for some plink or any noise"oh you screwed up there" its like nobody listens to the song. it was excellent.

  • Very Well, But it's a bit slowly..

  • Very well played for a beginner! My only suggestion other than using more dynamics is maybe adjust the right-hand thumb so it doesn't get too close to the index finger, ie. they keep htting each other.

  • i am practicing this right now at school. tho she played it well textualy i would of prefered some emotion in the playing very mechanical. any-how well played :)

  • I thought she played very well for an advanced beginner, how long had she been playing to tackle this piece?

  • A couple of months as I recall...

  • Thank you so much for all the positive comments. It is very encouraging. I am going to work on the expression thing...

  • Wow, beautiful.

    :-)

  • =).......

  • Wooow very talented..! go_go_ go...! i like it very wonderful video and insrumental sounds..i like that guitar to learn more..!@

  • She is really good. I sure can't pick like that. I was self taught and can't really play that well. She did a great job.

  • very competent performance

  • It is a blessing to see your progress in making music! Please continue your musical endeavors. They will be a blessing to you in many, many ways in your lifetime. Your growth will extend into other areas of your life and enhance them. God bless you.

  • Very Nice, tnx =D 5/5

  • so calming loved it

  • Very nice! :)

  • great work!

  • 5* :D

  • I like it! Gosh, I wish I could do that. It looks like she's really concentrating. I think her expressiveness will come naturally as it gets easier. Thanks for sharing this with us. I love watching someone getting better and better.

  • Jack, I really like her playing..she's just concentrating on getting it perfect. When playing becomes 2nd fiddle, she'll get her own style...don'tcha think????

  • Wow! Just awesome for a beginner! She just needs to play with more emotion to bring the song to life. kinda like my singing hahaha! all around GREAT job though! 5 stars

  • Very good. Thank you, guitmartimam for sending.

    Shirley

  • thanks for sharing...sound great 5*

  • very good work and result for a beeginer;

    thanks

  • yeah...it lacks feeling and emotion. She is just playing the notes but as you said, she is a beginner. She will surely improve with time and practice. Very nice job.

  • Very nice job!!!!

  • very nice

  • Awesome.

  • well done leo lovely and well done jack it must be so rewarding to teach someone with leos talent best wishes paul boon uk

  • Hi Paul! LOL! Leo Brouwer is the composer of this study! The girl who's playing is my student whose name I haven't shared because she chooses to remain anonymous. It is rewarding to teach someone who talent, though. Thanks for your comment! I'm sure "Leo" will get a kick out of it!

  • That was brilliant, your a good teacher, kool....

  • She did beautifully. I liked her pose, style and concentration. Though your words prepared me as a viewer, I still believe she played very well. Thank You for sending.

  • I am NOT a guitar player, let alone a guitar teacher, but I think that was beautiful. I loved the accents on 1 and the & of 2 that gave it its rhythmic little tiny bit of syncopation. I don't know anything about technique, but the steadiness, the concentration and the interpretation was wonderful. You are a good student, and you are studying with a maestro. Congrats to both!

  • Boy, I can tell you, she certainly was concentrating! She didn't want to have to record this again! This was her third attempt with this piece in front of the camera, and each attempt lasted around 20 minutes! Even after this one I wanted her to do it again, because I thought she could do better, but I could tell she really wasn't relishing the thought of having to come back and do it again, and this wasn't really so bad. She can always polish it up later. Next she'll do Danny Boy! She sings!

  • Very good!!

    Good teacher, good student ;)

U may as well play some Bach song. Go on!

  • Sounds very good! (I posted already, but the words are not showing up, so I'm posting again).

  • Thanks for your persistence! YT is not always as reliable as we might like it to be!

  • WOW...THANKS.BEAUTIFUL..5******
