Do the Kett foundations oxidise? I have quite a yellow undertone, and though MAC foundations are quite yellow, after they oxidised, they become too pink on my face, even NCs! Also, is it necessary to have the Kett Jet to use the hydro foundation, or can I use any other good airbrush compressor and airbrush... :))

We used this same Kett Hydro Foundation & Angel Blush for a video shoot in NYC this weekend. It didn't sweat off in the heat nor require any touching up. No powder was needed to set it and it looked clean and fresh at the end of the day. As you said 6 drops were all that was needed to do face & neck.

@antiFlagPuunk yes it will work with oily skin, but they have a "super Matte Aniti Shine" you can put on your face before, you can find it on their site under Aritists must haves. @holly75357 this foundation is so light but has great coverage! their Cream Fixx foundation has total coverage for covering up Acne or Acne scars! i love it!!
Hello, I have really olive skin, without much warm orange tone, I'm hispanic and warm shades tend to look orange on me and cool shades look pink and they make the rest of my skin look yellow green olivey. Would the olive range work for me? and I'm around NC 40-42 in depth, should I get the #5 or #7 kett foundation? Thanks!
@bethlav10 hello, thought this might help as I'm the same coloring as u it seems, very fair skin green eyes. I ordered the olive sampler and the num 1 shade in that coloring is pretty good, might need 2 mix in some of #2. You might wasnt to also try mixing the ruby and olive tones to get a true neutral tone (which I find having fair skin looks most natural..wayne even mentions in many a foundation video that most people should choose a neutral base foundation color. Hope that helps!

I don't understand why you can't see any fault with this product when the color range is not broad. I visited their website and they don't have a dark range and so once again we have a company that does not provide makeup for darker-skinned women. I just went to the u.s. Website and for everyone that's worried about a shade match when ordering online I saw that you can get trial kits of 6 shades. Light/med or med/dark that's have both olive and ruby tones. Each shade in the kit is 7ml each for just about the sane price as a single large bottle. If you're just trying the brand out that seems like a great option because you could mix as your shade changes through the seasons as well... Just a thought :-)

I have never heard of this brand but will check it out. I've been using a stippling brush for awhile now and absolutely love it. It is so easy to blend and I find I use so much less product with this brush.
@TheBoots72 Do you have a pinky undertone on your body? When they talk about neutralising colour, it's if you suffer extra redness, as maybe skin sensitivity and such - as you are a redhead and are likely to have pinky undertones, stick to the ruby colour scheme or you might look weird with an olive face with pinky body!

Have you used the Louise Young LY34 brush? I ordered it recently thinking it looks very interesting, but haven't received it yet. Just wondering your opinion if you have used it. BTW, Louise Young=GREAT customer service! When I ordered the brush, it was out of stock, so they emailed me asking if I wanted a refund or to wait. I said I'd wait, no problem. So, they emailed me a few days ago saying because of my patients, they would send me another brush of my choice free of charge! XO
I did the Ketts airbrush course last year and do love this range in fact I am moving over to this from my beloved temptu. All airbrush make up can be used in other guns but try not to mix formulas ie do not put a water based formula in a gun which has had silicone formula in it unless you have thoroughly cleaned it out or you can end up clogging your gun. Guru also do travel size packs which can be good value. Hope this helps.
regarding dupes: I live in the US and i bought the rose gold sleek blush because he recommended the brand...it cost less to have it shipped here than to pay full price for the expensive product he is duping and took less time for me to receive it than an item i purchased days before from the US. Ebay people.....

@AndreaJuliet I primarily use the olive colors. At times I will mix in some Ruby for a more neutral tone. I would suggest purchasing the trial pack to experiment with the colors. Quite often you need to custom blend your match. Hope this helps!
@apzq Hi, I know I"m not Wayne, but I did dermarolling about 8 times at a spa before my wedding to help with acne scarring and current acne. I also started using benzoyl peroxide. My skin made big improvements. I really don't know how much of it was because of dermarolling...but I now do it at home on my own and just make sure to really disinfect my roller and be careful, its not rocket science so I think its fine to do at home, especially after seeing how my esthetician did it.

Wayne I pray you will answer this for me. This is the first one you say is perfect. Question: Will this be good for older women, the winkles etc. I don't want it to cake in the winkles so they stand out and for age spots etc. This sounds like an awesome foundation. I've heard that if your skintone has pink undetones you should go for a foundation with yellow undertones because that way you would cancel out the redness. Is it true or not?

I'm going to IMATS in Vancouver this year, my second time around, very excited. Last year I stocked up on brushes and this year I need to expand my foundations. Hi, sorry this is random, i use to use mac studio fix foundation n it would control my shine for about an hr, then i would b a shiny mess, not only that but it broke me out like crazy. I now use revlon colorstay. It has worked wonders on my skin, for a foundation primer i use loreal studio magic perfecting primer. Not only does it help with hiding my scars but also controls the shine too. I hope this helps
just a suggestion- i personally LOVE the dupe videos- but i can imagine it getting a little annoying- so what if you do 'DUPE SUNDAY' for example? (any day obviously, but just a suggestion) :)
Since there's only 5 shades from either the Ruby or Olive tones, would you be able to match it with MAC coloring, i.e., is HP-O3 suitable for NC20-25? Etc. Would love to try their foundations without buying the kit.

But didn't you say in some previous video that people with very dry skin should avoid using a brush for applying foundation coz the brushes create micro bla bla . and now you're saying that using a stepling brush would give an airbrush effect. so people with dry skin should skip the brush while applying foundation or not? You also said that using brush for applying foundation will accentuate the pores on the face.

a lot of youtube guru's say that you should balance out your skin tone by using the opposite undertones to your natural skin. as in if you have red undertones you should get a yellow undertoned foundation. do you agree? if i were to get this, having naturally yellow undertoned skin, should i get ruby range to balance out my skintone?

I just went to the u.s. Website and for everyone that's worried about a shade match when ordering online I saw that you can get trial kits of 6 shades. Light/med or med/dark that's have both olive and ruby tones. Each shade in the kit is 7ml each for just about the sane price as a single large bottle. If you're just trying the brand out that seems like a great option because you could mix as your shade changes through the seasons as well... Just a thought :-)

I have never heard of this brand but will check it out. I've been using a stippling brush for awhile now and absolutely love it. It is so easy to blend and I find I use so much less product with this brush.

On the Kett website they say that olive is used to neutralize redness ?
Now i am confused i am a redhead and have a lot of redness in my face should i take the olive one now?
They say that olive is not warm but cool/olive and right for people with a cool complexion i have to order online please help me!!!

@TheBoots72 Do you have a pinky undertone on your body? When they talk about neutralising colour, it's if you suffer extra redness, as maybe skin sensitivity and such - as you are a redhead and are likely to have pinky undertones, stick to the ruby colour scheme or you might look weird with an olive face with pinky body!

Have you used the Louise Young LY34 brush? I ordered it recently thinking it looks very interesting, but haven't received it yet. Just wondering your opinion if you have used it. BTW, Louise Young=GREAT customer service! When I ordered the brush, it was out of stock, so they emailed me asking if I wanted a refund or to wait. I said I'd wait, no problem. So, they emailed me a few days ago saying because of my patients, they would send me another brush of my choice free of charge! XO

I did the Ketts airbrush course last year and do love this range in fact I am moving over to this from my beloved temptu. All airbrush make up can be used in other guns but try not to mix formulas ie do not put a water based formula in a gun which has had silicone formula in it unless you have thoroughly cleaned it out or you can end up clogging your gun. Guru also do travel size packs which can be good value. Hope this helps.

regarding dupes: I live in the US and i bought the rose gold sleek blush because he recommended the brand...it cost less to have it shipped here than to pay full price for the expensive product he is duping and took less time for me to receive it than an item i purchased days before from the US. Ebay people.....

@AndreaJuliet I primarily use the olive colors. At times I will mix in some Ruby for a more neutral tone. I would suggest purchasing the trial pack to experiment with the colors. Quite often you need to custom blend your match. Hope this helps!

@apzq Hi, I know I"m not Wayne, but I did dermarolling about 8 times at a spa before my wedding to help with acne scarring and current acne. I also started using benzoyl peroxide. My skin made big improvements. I really don't know how much of it was because of dermarolling...but I now do it at home on my own and just make sure to really disinfect my roller and be careful, its not rocket science so I think its fine to do at home, especially after seeing how my esthetician did it.

Wayne I pray you will answer this for me. This is the first one you say is perfect. Question: Will this be good for older women, the winkles etc. I don't want it to cake in the winkles so they stand out and for age spots etc. This sounds like an awesome foundation. Also my skin is a light to med olive I would want the olive right. I look better in silver and cool colors. Please answer Joni

I've heard that if your skintone has pink undetones you should go for a foundation with yellow undertones because that way you would cancel out the redness. Is it true or not?

I'm going to IMATS in Vancouver this year, my second time around, very excited. Last year I stocked up on brushes and this year I need to expand my foundations. I do a lot of weddings and other freelance work. Any help on who had the best deals and what you think I should go with would be great. Right now I wok with Jane Iredale and Mirabella a lot but would like to go more towards Kett and OCC and whatnot. Thanks!!

Hi, sorry this is random, i use to use mac studio fix foundation n it would control my shine for about an hr, then i would b a shiny mess, not only that but it broke me out like crazy. I now use revlon colorstay. It has worked wonders on my skin, for a foundation primer i use loreal studio magic perfecting primer. Not only does it help with hiding my scars but also controls the shine too. I hope this helps

Since there's only 5 shades from either the Ruby or Olive tones, would you be able to match it with MAC coloring, i.e., is HP-O3 suitable for NC20-25? Etc. Would love to try their foundations without buying the kit.

But didn't you say in some previous video that people with very dry skin should avoid using a brush for applying foundation coz the brushes create micro bla bla . and now you're saying that using a stepling brush would give an airbrush effect. so people with dry skin should skip the brush while applying foundation or not? You also said that using brush for applying foundation will accentuate the pores on the face.

a lot of youtube guru's say that you should balance out your skin tone by using the opposite undertones to your natural skin. as in if you have red undertones you should get a yellow undertoned foundation. do you agree? if i were to get this, having naturally yellow undertoned skin, should i get ruby range to balance out my skintone?
