Our beloved Michael valued Gary, IN and had such a compassionate & generous heart. I recently saw a report on Gary, IN. It has been difficult for the residents since the steel mills have closed down. Many people have left Gary because of the lack of employment. Gary is impoverished and has a grave crime problem. There are wonderful people who reside in Gary but they do need employment opportunities. Mr. Jackson worked so hard to get his family out of Gary and that was over 40 years ago

Our beloved Mr. Michael Joseph Jackson was an extraordinary humanitarian and philanthropic individual. He lived a very purposeful life, always researching opportunities to give back and try to heal the world. Michael only lived in Gary, Indianna for 10 years. He did not owe Gary anything. A child is not responsilbe for the social or economic class they are born in. He was an incredible man!
