In all the maps of each the corners there are correct names of Polish cities like: BĘDZIN (in the movie - Benzin) and SOSNOWIEC (in the movie - Sosnowiecze). Nothing to earlier to check out with one Pole the names mentionned before. I've found the many mistakes in the alliant cementary in France on the graves from Polish -descent soldiers, so the problem seemed important.
I can relate to some of what was said here. My father when he was younger used to catch fish, cross the Bug river to get to Wlodava to sell fish, I remember him telling me about the thriving Jewish community there, he probably sold his fish to some of them to sell on.

Not at all. The translator (a Polish woman knowing French says in Polish - "Też Żydowski?" - "Also Jewish?" and as you say he replies affirmative. Nothing sensational here.

Third: the interpreter then translates the Frenck and asks "Też Żydowski?
Fourth: the Pole replies "Też Żydowski!" (second affirmative)
So my point was that the Polish gentleman had already replied "Tak" before a translation had been done. So either the interview was rehearsed, or the Pole understands French, or his "tak" was a reflex.
