Actually, all that was said is wrong... A ball bouncing is physics, fair sharing communism, paperfolding origami, cooking ökothrophology, money is concerned about economics, snowchances meteorology, beat and harmony is music (ever heard purely mathematical music?! gruesome!)... All the rest was hypothecical nonsense - which in fact is mathematics. Never saw elephants carrying stuff with their ears. I will remain in my opinion: most of maths is useless (to me).

You do know the difference between whole notes, half notes, quarter notes, sixteenth notes...that are basicly just fractions, and dont u use terms like octaves, thirds, semitones that measure note distances either?

...composing songs with odd time signatures on sheet music would be nightmarish if one didnt know how to add simple fractions. It gets even more mathematical if you are a sound engineer where each sound has different values in different parameters...and then there is the financial part of the equation...sure u dont need to know quadratic equations...but u still do math x)
